Hopefully 45 hours is enough to coach the players to not pass to Hicks
If Joel's ankles don't get better, they need more White and Woods on Monday

I don't follow.Don't worry bud. Rooting for UNC is like rooting for the MFY ...
East coast biasYou're confusing UNC with the team in Durham
Hicks is a mess. Never seen a senior fall apart like this at end of year. What can Roy do though? No other options.Hopefully 45 hours is enough to coach the players to not pass to Hicks

Oh definitely. I think most non affiliated fans are gonna pull for the Zags but UNC doesn't engender the hate their instate rivals do.You're confusing UNC with the team in Durham
But a reasonably close second.Oh definitely. I think most non affiliated fans are gonna pull for the Zags but UNC doesn't engender the hate their instate rivals do.
Literally no one outside of the UNC area cares about the tough loss they took last year.I think a few more people in the country may root for UNC just because of the tough L they took last year.
You are probably right. And that is fine.Nobody other than Carolina alums/fans are going to root for us or pick us, and that's fine.
Can I have some of your drugs? They are clearly amazing in order to see a mystery forearm in the back on the tap out. That did not even come close to occurring. Get a grip. The first one too -- that forearm to the back was practically an MMA move.
As I said, smart play by Carolina to know there was no way a foul would be called there.
So not trueLiterally no one outside of the UNC area cares about the tough loss they took last year.
He pushed off, but well within the bounds of what's going to be let go in the final minute of the game. Which is basically what I said. The shove looked a lot more subtle on the replay from different angles, but we saw less than that called on numerous occasions throughout the tournament -- but not in the last 10 seconds of a close game. Can I have some of your drugs? I've watched the replay several times, there is absolutely no push. Pinson isn't even making contact with bell when he taps the ball out.He pushed off, but well within the bounds of what's going to be let go in the final minute of the game. The second was just a flat-out failure to box out; yes, there was some contact, but the Oregon player went straight for the ball without first taking care of his man.
I didn't have a rooting interest in the game, BTW.
plus Marquette in 77It would be pretty funny to see UNC get gut punched by small Catholic schools from opposite ends of the country two years in a row.
To add some context, Gonzaga is about 60% of the size of Marquette and Villanova. It would be pretty funny to see UNC get gut punched by small Catholic schools from opposite ends of the country two years in a row.
It's still 7000+ students, about 5k undergrads. Not exactly a small Catholic school. To add some context, Gonzaga is about 60% of the size of Marquette and Villanova.
I didn't call it one. It's still 7000+ students, about 5k undergrads. Not exactly a small Catholic school.
That growth is in the last 20 years though and really the last 10 once the fund raising hit high gear and the school could afford to build new facilities and new places for students to live. When I was a Freshman at Gonzaga the total undergraduate population was ~2200 students + another 500 graduate/law students. It's still 7000+ students, about 5k undergrads. Not exactly a small Catholic school.
It's been 9:20pm for a while now. And the NCAA football game kicks on Monday not much earlier. They want the entire country for the ratings but it kills it on the east coast. So the title game doesn't tip off until 9:20 now? I can't imagine many casual fans stay up to watch. Why doesn't the NCAA move to a Friday-Sunday Final Four with the title game around 7pm on Sunday? Wouldn't that draw bigger ratings even if Friday did worse than Saturday?
There's a game watch at Tony C's near Fenway, but that will be packed.Dear friends: very sorry if this has been asked and answered, but I'm working on a small screen here. Is there a bar or pub in Boston that could be expected to be hospitable to Carolina fans?
Thanks. I might try that if I have the energy. There's a game watch at Tony C's near Fenway, but that will be packed.
That's cool. Played against Dan Dickau in high school. Assuming he'll be there of course. I've always had a soft spot for UNC, but I'd be great to see Gonzaga win this.Just heard on a radio interview that there are 70 former Gonzaga basketball players in attendance who played at GU since the original run in 1999. Also heard that Few flew everyone of his old assistant coaches and even Dan Monson in on his dime for the game tonight
Dickau is there if the pictures I'm seeing posted on FB are accurate. That's cool. Played against Dan Dickau in high school. Assuming he'll be there of course. I've always had a soft spot for UNC, but I'd be great to see Gonzaga win this.
The Super Bowl LI reference was pretty awesome.Amazing intro. Let's go Zags.
It's the same time every year. Why is this game on so fucking late?
