God I love this show because they talk hockey all the time and this interview right now is fantastic hockey talk right now. And my god do I hate the Canadiens

This is a great exchange between Felger & Tony Maranaro from Team 990 in Montreal. Felger argueing that "Montreal is the biggest bunch of divers in the history in sports".

Maranaro's comeback of "you need to show me the statistics" was weak. Stats aren't going to depict the true way a team flops.

It's amazing hearing Felger use his cynical douchebaggery for good.

It's like when Shank does something decent, you're not quite sure how to take it.

I already hate Wiggy Wednesday's, guy sounds like a fucking tool.
He really hasn't contributed much of anything yet, I still don't understand this "Wiggy Wednesday" move. I'm shocked that he's gonna be sitting in every Wednesday considering football season won't start for another five months (hopefully). They'd be better off with a rotation over the next couple months with guys who know hockey and basketball to discuss the playoffs.

On a side note, I've never heard a black guy with that thick of a Boston accent.

You mean besides Larry Johnson?

The Hub is playing an inane Felger quote about how the NBA is a "bad product" if their best player (James) isn't a 'winner' as an ad on the morning show.

WEEI made a great decision with Holley, because I will certainly listen to that over Mazz/Felger, who seem to get worse every week.

"Let's take our best guy, who's contract is up, and put him in a prime slot so he won't leave", yeah real visionary move by WEEI. Reactionary is more like it, they should have done it a year or two ago.

Felger and Mazz can get old / redundant but I'd still rather listen to them over Ordway and Holley at this point. I love Holley, but can't stand Ordway or the AM signal for more than 5 minutes. I feel like its 1950 and I'm hoping I don't go under an overpass. Ordway still is yelling over callers, way more than Felger does.

My office door will be closed and I will not be taking calls.

However I don't expect this to last longer than 5 minutes, I remember when he took on the Pittsburgh radio hosts last year after the Cooke hit and that got ugly really fast.

That was hysterical. Two minutes into the hockey discussion he started calling Roethlisberger a rapist and ripping on the "suck up media in Pittsburgh".

My favorite exchange was at the outset when Felger called the police involvement an embarrassment and Barry said "is it an embarrassment every time they get involved?" Would have only been better if Felger had replied "yes, absolutely!"

Felger is killing them. They keep saying "time out!" all the time. They got their panties in a wad when he called their clogging the 911 lines "yahooism". Barry really perked up there. I think I heard him scoff.

Round 2, coming up!

Felger absolutely buried him right there, it wasn't even close. Barry was getting killed in the argument, he knew it, so he started feigning indignation over the word "yahooism". Unbelievable.

Tony needs to keep his mouth shut and let Felger roll.

This whole experience portrays a pretty graphic image of a massive circle-jerking culture in Montreal from top to bottom.
