Especially when 55.555% of their field players are now freshYeah, obvious red card. I think going down to 10 men will really require Sweden to come out of its shell.
That's not a legitimate playI get the reasoning--it's a reckless, high boot, but I don't think it's as straightforward as they made it out to be.
He attempted a legitimate play on (and won) the ball. It's not a Pepe Special where he goes 3 feet over the ball into his ankle.
I'm with you here. Like, it's an ugly clash but he got the ball and the attacker didn't.I get the reasoning--it's a reckless, high boot, but I don't think it's as straightforward as they made it out to be.

To me, it looks like Danielson only has eyes for the ball, and accomplishes his job of winning the clearance. The Ukranian player is irrelevant to what Danielson is trying to do there. Similar to a player inadvertently catching someone with his elbow when pumping his arms to win a header. That's not a legitimate play
This happened in the Croatia vs Russia game in the QFs of the World Cup and they still lost to Croatia in the semis.England will love this going into extras. Plus players dropping like flies.
I think this is a fair assessment, but still, an easy red, imo (at least with the way they've been calling them for he past decade+)To me, it looks like Danielson only has eyes for the ball, and accomplishes his job of winning the clearance. It's reckless (and a horrific outcome) and I understand why it's a red, but more brutal challenges have been yellows.
And long may that continue. This happened in the Croatia vs Russia game in the QFs of the World Cup and they still lost to Croatia in the semis.
Not showing like that on the pitch, unfortunately.11 substitutions is impressive.
so they're basically cheering for unlimited penalties?Pubs in Scotland are allowed to stay open until the game is over. Normally they would be closed at this point .
In fairness, you would have to be pretty shitfaced already to be enjoying this.so they're basically cheering for unlimited penalties?
Want to minimize time for Sweden to score backNot smart to kill time Bexus
