Is the rule where the foul starts?Hooooly shit. Right call. Free kick on the box line.
Correct. And referees tend to put it just outside the box if there's any doubt. Is the rule where the foul starts?
Well, it was a tap-in for the Hungarian behind him if he didn't try to play it. Some own goals can't really be avoided.on an own goal. What a fucking nutpunch
I thought it can be a penalty if the fouling continues within the box. Sure looked like they weren't done touching each other until they'd crossed the line.Correct. And referees tend to put it just outside the box if there's any doubt.
I think Santos sat Danilo for William due to wanting more size vs Janko. If he doesn't play, I'd expect Danilo and Renato to come in and pick up the pace.Portugal have been incredibly static. They were very active versus Iceland always looking to get on the ball but today it seems there is nobody available. Carvalho in particular looks leggy and slow
The atmosphere totally transferred to TV. The Hungarian supporters were amazing. The atmosphere at the Stade Velodrome was incredible. The Hungarian fans really showed out and were loud and rabid. I thought that the Irish and Swedes had a good showing Monday night, but this was on another level. I don't know how much it showed on TV.

Why does Hungary's keeper wear sweatpants?
Thanks, West Germany & Austria.Obviously from a competitive standpoint it makes the most sense, but I'm pretty bummed out not to be able to just watch 6 hours of soccer today or both games of the group finale.
Agreed, can't believe some of these nations didn't demand a bespoke kit and were okay with this horrible Vapor template. The France jerseys look just like England and the USA.
I hate Nike.
