I mean, I think that's the point the complaints are making---it's a bit of taking advantage of the fans. But, I mean, if you got the time, I can see how it would be a fun thing to do.
I guess…. On the other hand I give the fans some credit and assume no one is forcing their hand. If there is a waiting line to join in, why not just assume there is an intersection of money earning opportunity with enjoying fandom? Half those dudes packed pocket beers and get an evening away from the wives / kids, and get to hang with like minded fans / friends. Plus a little exercise and a story to tell at work the next day

I think that's kind of what I said. It sounds fun to do and the Bills know they can count on enough wanting to do it instead of worrying about contracting it out.

Texans are an easy pick, Lions are an easy pick.

No idea who I want out of the Bills/Chiefs. I guess the Bills - but then they need to lose in excruciating fashion in the AFCCG.

Exactly where I'm at. Hoping for the Rocky III double knockout in Buffalo, but short of that a Bills win followed by them getting blown out by Houston in the ACFCG.

Bills have some of the best fans. They deserve a SB.

Every encounter I ever had up there after a Pats game was basically "Good luck winning another Superbowl"

They live for that team. I mean look at the line for shovelers. Every establishment in the area has jerseys and memorabilia signed by players.

Sox fans can certainly relate to heartbreak. They have certainly had it. I mean 4 years in a row?

I'll be rooting for them. The fans.

I dislike the Ravens, but that stems from when the Pats were good and the Ravens were good. They were a rival because of circumstances. The Bills are always a rival.

There was a time in the late 80s/early 90s I hated the Blue Jays, because they were good and the Yankees were shit. That's the Ravens. Unless there's something like the Steelers winning their 7th, I always pull against the AFC East.

I just want ANYONE except the Chiefs. Whoever has the best chance of knocking out Mahomes and Reid. I want them nowhere near the records.

I attended undergrad school in Rochester during the late 80s/early 90s (so some of the Bills's SB loss years). At least back then, the people were among the nicest, politest, down-to-earth people I've ever met (some jerks, but every place has its jerks). I typically don't root for them, but it's easy to root for them over pure evil (Baltimore, Miami, NYJ, Indy, KC, etc.).

I'm surprised to see BUF favored, even slightly, over KC. BUF has been really inconsistent, and both their O and D are riddled with injuries. KC has seemed to be putting things together lately (despite the drops) after a slow start. The weather shouldn't be a factor. As we saw recently, it gets cold in both BUF and KC.

It feels to me as though BUF is fading away, running out of gas, and KC is coming on, getting their second wind, and their last matchup was decided by only three points. I fully expect Mahomes & co. to win easily.

Caveat: I know nothing. Shaker of salt, etc.

I heard Mahomes get asked the question, probably after he won his second SB, if he thought he could catch Brady. He said wait 'til he won a couple more and then see what everything looked like. Thought that was too presumptuous. He may not even get to 2 more. What the hell, put in simple terms, I like Josh Allen don't like Mahomes. All those freaking State Commercials too. Gah.

Buffalo has won 6 straight, which includes KC, Dallas, Miami and last week's wild card game. KC is 5-4 since their bye week.

Did you mean KC was fading and Buffalo coming on?

No. It's just a gut feel, but it's the same gut feel I had in 2007 as the Pats were finishing the last few games of the regular season. They won all those games, but they "felt" to me like they were running down and I was worried about what would happen in the SB. I just get the same sense from BUF. It's all gut feel, that's all. I won't mind being wrong; I have plenty of experience in that area and have learned to deal with it well. :)

I suppose, it being nothing but gut feel, I really shouldn't be surprised that the consensus of experts disagrees with me, now that I think about it. :D

Never mind. /litella

SF game will be wet but not heavy rain so shouldn’t be much of a factor. Baltimore’s will be windy and cold but dry. Same for Buffalo tomorrow, cold and dry.

The three straight losses for the Ravens include 1 Patriot win, 10 years ago. Bills and the Titans were the more recent Divisional losses.

Patriots have killed the Texans a couple of times, in 2016 and 2012. Kind of funny.
Can’t tell if you’re agreeing or disagreeing with me. 3 of the 7 losses were at the hands of the Pats.

Watching RGIII talk about Lamar on ESPN you can see why he was so highly touted coming out of college – in addition to being a freak athlete he is incredibly smart and well spoken.

Fucking Mike Shanahan (tho I think it was actually Snyder).

I'm both.

I'd think it would be more. Because the Pats were in the Championship game every year for a million years.
In fairness to the Ravens, they won multiple playoff games against us - 09, 12. Between 09, 11, 12, 14, they outscored us. And all 4 games were in NE. Both of their wins were by multiple scores. Ours were by the skin of our teeth. They were a terrifying opponent. I remember the lead up to the 2014 game. Some were saying we should be scared due to the history, some were saying they sucked and were lucky to be there and the Pats would destroy them. And then they went up 14-0.

where I was last at
In those days the Ravens were a bad ass/ kick ass team that put some fear in me.

If memory serves, Pats got fortunate a couple of times to escape those MFers. A dropped TD pass and the Jules flea flicker come to mind.

I like Stroud but for some reason my feeling is that I want the Black Birds to win by 50? Sometimes I feel like I don’t even know myself.

Who was a better QB in college, Lamar Jackson or Jayden Daniels? (I don't follow college football particularly closely.)

Can’t tell if Lamar was upset at himself for messing up the read, or not making the tackler miss.

I’m sure GFI is the analytics play, but with Tucker kicking, I agree with this decision.
