Bitching about the rules is kind of a cliche this season; but to me it seems like helmet to helmet is a call that is entirely based on how violent a collision looks at first glance. That hit looked really bad in real time, but clearly on the replay it was very minor and not even close to helmet to helmet. Conversely if a guy gets rocked in the middle of a pile with a helmet to helmet and it isn’t in the open field, it is rarely called.

Penalties for barely contacting a receiver diving right at you for a catch in the end zone are ridiculous. Throw a flag on the receiver for illegal diving.
