Yes Dan OI like Wichusen (he does Jets games), cannot say I like the color man (is it Orlovsky?).
They look very good.Yes Dan O
Also Carolina is playing much better than I expected. Lots of guys taking advantage of the chance to play.
And he has personality on top of it. I think he's a rising starYeah, what is the problem with Orlovsky? He knows his shit and doesn’t operate in cliches.
Eh, they never whistle a delay of game immediately upon expiration of the play clock, there is always a half second or so lag because the official confirms the ball hasn’t been snapped after the play clock behind the end zone expires. That play getting off was well within the norm for college or pro ball.Play clock was at 0 before they got the snap off on the tying TD. A&M lucked out.
Howell is pretty good manGrimes might be the best player on the field for Carolina and he was supposed to be in high school this year.
I disagree with the brutal choke job characterization, but #2 totally whiffedBrutal choke job by the UNC defense. #2 had him dead to rights, and didn't wrap up.
Yeah, I'm a little more irrational. Needed UNC +6.5 to win my company bowl pool before the National Championship. Now it's a tiebreaker bonanza.I disagree with the brutal choke job characterization, but #2 totally whiffed
That spread must have been set before all the opt outs. It closed closer to 9.5Yeah, I'm a little more irrational. Needed UNC +6.5 to win my company bowl pool before the National Championship. Now it's a tiebreaker bonanza.
Correct. Whatever the line is about a week before the first game is what the guy who runs it goes with. Can't be too sad, though; our entry was picked exclusively by my 7-year-old. Not a ton of science involved. That spread must have been set before all the opt outs. It closed closer to 9.5
College Station, yo. The cult is strong. When did Jimbo start talking like Boomhauer?
Yup, the opt outs that led to drops and the TAMU DL was the difference.Hope the guys who went on to the NFL get their bucks but sure could have used them out there.
I enjoy living in Central Time because of this.Obligatory - why can't they kick this game off earlier since it is going to run til Midnite EST

More than the past 15 years? He hasn't sounded very good since his stroke, and now he's old too.Because life is pain.
Watching the NFL game last night, followed by this one tonight is not going to kill me, but it might.
Also, is something wrong with Lee Corso? I am not joking or mocking him, he didn't sound well.
Me too.I enjoy living in Central Time because of this.
I thought the same thing, he seemed out of sorts.Because life is pain.

He's not having a good day and that shouldn't be a surprise given his health history. Tough to watch. This guy is the reason the show is the Saturday morning institution it's turned into . I don't want to see this turn into the sports version of Dick Clark. Having him not seated next to Kirk (not possible in this environment) has been a huge tell this season.Because life is pain.

I agree. I love Corso, but I'll confess that I haven't listened to him much the past few years, so I guess I didn't know he was deteriorating. Poor guy, definitely don't want him to end up like Dick Clark. He's not having a good day and that shouldn't be a surprise given his health history. Tough to watch. Not a chance that happens no matter what he looks like.Do we hope Fields doesn’t play well so he slides to the Pats at 15?
McShay mocked it this week, I think. But I’m not in the know. Not a chance that happens no matter what he looks like.
His showtime has been cut for his health and age as the show has grown in length. I'd like to have him pop in for a segment in the first 15 minutes of the last hour and then rejoin for picks and headgear. He's a great interview and his enthusiasm for the game is genuine. Love him!I just looked it up. Corso is 85. Man, he actually doesn't sound too bad for 85. I would have guessed 65.
Todd McShay seems to be the only one who thinks this could happen.Do we hope Fields doesn’t play well so he slides to the Pats at 15?
