Thought the officials did a great job handling a really challenging final drive without inserting themselves.

where I was last at
Not that I ever thought about it, but I always considered the kickoff after a safety as a big benefit of the safety and a part of the play. Like a PAT after TD.

Why isn’t Army going to a bowl game at 6-6?
Bowls were arranged last weekend. They weren't bowl eligible at the time.

Edit: Of course, since both Army and Navy were 5-6, what theoretically could have happened is a bowl could have agreed to take whoever won this game? I wonder if that would have been allowed. I assume not.

Was Army flirting with an unsportsmanlike penalty? I don’t know the rule but after a few times, I’m sure the refs would have had enough.
Navy was lucky to have not gotten flagged when two players cartoonishly jumped on the Army quarterback well after the play. Refs seemed committed to letting them play; not much they can do about the pre-snap stuff.

It would be at the very worst a delay of game. But generally if you just stop the clock the defense will figure out that their theatrics are actually gaining time for the offense. Note you couldn't do that in the NFL, but the college rulebook basically lets the Referee do whatever he wants with the clock. "The referee has broad authority in timing the game".

When do they announce the Heisman winner? 8:45? 8:50?

Watching Arkansas put a good effort in volleyball against top seed Corn.

A couple of their wins are against FCS schools so they don’t count.
Yes, you are only allowed one FCS win; and they had two; so they only get credit for going 5-6. Otherwise, the game would have been set up so that the winner got to go to a bowl.
