On paper, one of the worst lineups we've had all year. Washington at Oregon State is very intriguing. Texas at Iowa State is probably the most important game of the week, which I dread for multiple factors.

Harvard Yale is your best Noon game. Sad day. (Except for UCLA USC and Georgia Tenn and Huskies Beavers)

Actually Tulane @ FAU is good too, for noon, can Tulane keep its NY6 bowl? But stupid ESPN+

Washington/OSU is clearly the game of the week. It's two top 10 teams with major playoff implications given OSU can totally turn the playoff picture on its head with their games this week and in Civil War and given they are good enough to do so if their secondary can hold up. The only implication of Texas/ISU is Texas either punching their ticket to the B12 title game or getting thrown in the mud with the rest of the 2/3 loss teams.

The other implication of Texas losing is unblocking Alabama, who is otherwise going to have a hard time jumping the Longhorns with that head to head home loss.

I'll be there! Last time for The Game in New Haven while my kiddo is an undergrad so we thought we better make the trip once.

I'll also throw in a plug for the Brawl of the Wild-- FCS #4 Montana State (8-2) at #3 Montana (9-1), noon Mountain time on ESPN+. Bobcats throttled the Grizzlies last year and despite a strong season in Missoula I'm kind of expecting the same outcome. I've been to a couple UM games this season and it just doesn't seem like they're that good. I'd love to be proven wrong.

I mean, the rule -- intended to introduce friction to discourage schools from changing levels willy-nilly -- might be dumb, but JMU knew that it was there, so all the lawsuit-threatening seems uncalled for.

From the moment Xavier Weaver jogged into the end zone against Stanford to take a massive lead, Colorado has lost 5 straight, including the collapse against Stanford.

Good use of timeout. Save yourself a half yard penalty on 3rd and 18. Brilliant!

I thought he got it on second effort. But you couldn’t tell on replay.

Not sure if Michigan lost this game it would have even mattered. They win the next one and the Big 10 championship and they would have likely been in the playoffs. Michigan’s passing game may be their ultimate undoing if they don’t win this year. They have the defense and running game but that may not be enough.
