I don’t see it with Wagner.
Analytics love him. Idk. He was a really good college defender & people expect his 3s to improve greatly.

Of course, analytics like Sengun even more.

Why would the Kings pick Mitchell, when they have a pg? Are they So deep that they can be drafting a backup this high?

I don't understand, maybe it is a trade.

I like Mitchell as a Kid, and I do think he will be a solid reserve in the league, but I just don't see starter upside

a lot of these picks don't make sense for their teams -- I'd guess there are trades afoot.

I would have to think Memphis goes Bouknight. Kind of amazed he is still on the board

Z doesn't seem like someone you'd want to move up for.

I think he'll actually be fine, but still weird.

Apparently the Warriors couldn’t complete a trade of #7 and are going to hold on to Matrix v2.0. They have the vet infrastructure to develop him, though.
He has to be moved though. It makes zero sense for the Warriors to keep him for both immediate production reasons as well as financial/tax reasons.

Holy F***. they made that trade to get a guy who would have been there at 17

At this rate the Thunder are going to get Bouknight with their SECOND pick at #16, when some mocks had him going 6.

"It's nice to see him rewarded"

Nice to see him rewarded for what. Playing like crap as a Freshman? Just having raw potential.

I assume they are certainly offering 16 and 18 to get him, maybe even a future #1; although, if they plan Giddey at guard, not sure there is space.

Charlotte is getting interesting. Liked the trade for Plumlee today, too.

Bouknight to Charlotte. Good for them, I think he was the BPA there. Still may have teams trying to get him

Hornets get Bouknight! Continuing to challenge the Hawks as one of the more exciting teams in the Eastern Conference. One more guard to keep Wanamaker from playing significant minutes like he had to do at the end of this season.

Spurs going Primo says to me that they have a deal lined up for one of their guards, Murray or White.

Maybe Spurs traded 12 to Thunder for 16 & 18 so they can draft 2 actual wings & the Thunder can play Primo 35 minutes a game & tank so hard?

Wow, I did not see that coming. I knew he was rising, but come on.

Back to Charlotte, so many interesting big men in this draft, I wonder if a Bassey or one of the other interesting Bigs falls to them at 37

Looking forward to a lot of shoes dropping in the near future...

This seems like a very Pacer-y pick, though.

Haha, I would have to think at this point if OKC moves up it would be for Sengun, But who knows. I think at this point we have no idea who the highest rate guy on anyone's board is.

Kuminga + Moody is a nice talent haul if Warriors are still looking to swap them out for current solutions.

Meh. The Pacers front office is under orders to win now. They have no title aspirations, just make the playoffs. Duarte helps them more than a long term development prospect.

The Warriors have to be Ben Simmons or bust, to explain this Moody pick, right?
Possibly, but honestly I love the Moody pick. While I have my doubts about Kaminga and his ability to give the Warriors anything next year, I actually think Moody can contribute. Personally I like his skillset much more than Kispert, even though Kispert might be a bit of a better of a now Shooter

Perhaps, I just think Duarte will underperform as a Now guy

All now guys underperform. Olds don't have particularly outliarish rookie seasons.

Not a single damn dry eye in this living room. C’mon Brad, go pay $250 to the Bucks for the 60th that they have no use for and make Clarke and his family a part of the Celtics family.
