Bruins sign Justin Hickman

Kirk Luedeke had this earlier this evening, but looks like the Bruins have signed UDFA Justin Hickman from the Seattle Thunderbirds.

He's out for the rest of the season with shoulder surgery, but looks to be a potential bottom 6er down the line. HockeyDB page.
 
Decent offensive ability, feared fighter, defensive emphasis to his game - won't be ready until '15-'16.

Good pick up and someone who can step onto the bottom six in a year or two while playing physical Bruins hockey.

Transplanted current Seattleite here. The T'Birds fan love this guy, fan favorite on the team. Beats the crap out of local rivals Everett routinely. Excited the Bruins picked him up. Hope he works out better than Hamill did...
