Really interesting game tonight. Bruins won the first meeting, but Tampa had lots excuses (end of road trip, at Boston, backup goalie, etc.). These teams are probably the best two teams in the league in 2019. It is going to be a great test and (hopefully) a playoff preview.

MoJo is a game time decision. If he is in, I’d still like to see Kuhlman get a look against TB, perhaps with either Backes or Nordstrom sitting out.

Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak
DeBrusk - Krejci - MoJo
Heinen - Coyle - Kuhlman
Nordstrom - Acciari - Wagner

Chara - McAvoy
Moore - Carlo
Kampfer - Clifton

I'm going to make an assumption that for NHL players, there's a "gameday routine" and a second version of it that is the "playoff gameday routine" that is longer, and more focused. If I were the B's or Bolts, I'd try and treat today like it was a playoff gameday so I could give the suped-up routine a rep before the playoffs actually start.

I'd be surprised if there was any change in gameday routine...as soon as you start to do things different, you get off track. I think the players know how big this is, but the nice thing is that it really doesn't matter, so they can play loose while knowing they need to leave it out there.

Yeah, they are creatures of habit. The players don’t change their game day routine when the playoffs roll around. The team will (and already has) dial back the morning skates but that is about the only difference between regular season and playoffs.

I don’t think the B’s or Tampa will place any additional emphasis on tonight’s game.
