It made a ton of sense would a speed guy on 3rd.  Hell of a lot better than Butler wandering off of 1st to try and get a run.

I think you let Gordon hit, but Perez is a great bunt candidate.  He's slow and the possibility of a GIDP is high.  And if he fails with it you still have Gordon in scoring position for Infante.

I think you let Gordon hit, but Perez is a great bunt candidate.  He's slow and the possibility of a GIDP is high.  And if he fails with it you still have Gordon in scoring position for Infante.

Nah, Perez was so tight as it was he might have missed the pitch and gotten the runner trapped off third. Then he would have struck out. If they were going to do it, it would have been with Gordon
