Pretty old news, but yeah, that's a head scratcher. May be they could have beat Stoke or Swansea? May be draw Everton? I don't know. There were a lot of games in the back half of the season where I didn't feel like Arsenal really had a chance. Were there four points in the second half of the season that Arsenal could have taken back? Possibly? I don't know. The only thing Kallstrom has going for him is that he scored on his penalty against Wigan in the Cup Semi. That is literally it. And that's a big it too.soxfan121 said:Bob says Michael wanted to go to Arsenal but:
So yeah. Kim Kallstrom. Y'all probably don't win the league with a healthy, in-form Michael Bradley instead of an injured, out-of-shape Kim Kallstrom...but you probably finish higher than fourth.
EDIT: you've got to keep in mind that it's coming from Bradley's father so that it's going to come across as more critical. Regardless, I would've rather had Bradley than Kallstrom.
I heard the Vela stuff too. There were rumors earlier this week that Sociedad was in London to negotiate a price to get rid of that clause. There were also, as you mentioned, Snowplow, grumblings about Griezmann and Vela being used as a pawn to get him. There is definitely more to the story and we'll find out in the coming weeks.
