Do you pull him and burn out your bullpen?  Or do you let him eat innings and give KC the game?

I still give Wakefield a lot of credit for '04 ALCS.  His eating innings in game 3 was huge.

Gibbons is crazy to leave him in. Is he punting a playoff game?

That's what I'm wondering...if he goes to the bullpen for 8 innings when you're already down 5 runs...you may implicitly forfeit game 5.

Can't punt this game, this may be the series here. Imagine if they kept Syndergaard and d'Arnaud instead.

I really like R.A. personally but he is so unreliable.  Of course any knuckleballer is a massive roll of the dice with every start.

I was legitimately sad that the Mets traded him... obviously it was a good trade (even at the time, it was clear that was a pretty good haul for someone that didn't really have a long record of success, and of course now it's rapidly joining those 'most lopsided trade' lists), but there's just something fun about the knuckleball.

I (gulp) agree with Harold about the cheesiness of those calls. But Verducci is right in that's what you get with Replay.

The solution, of course is to get rid of Replay.

I didn't even like it when the Yankees used replay after a double by the Angels (Might've been Trout). They kept the tag on and got the call for a fraction of a second off the bag.

Maybe they need to make the rule to reapply the tag if the guy goes off the bag, no keeping the tag on the entire time. Who knows.

I assume you forgot about last year before fan duel? it was a Viagra ad every other ad... It says something about the baseball demographic

Consult your doctor if you get a hot tip that last for four hours

Hawkins said he's retiring, didn't he? He's the best they had to go to there? I questioned it when he was warming up.
