Playoff Races:

Greenville - It's complicated. They are 12 GB of Savannah for the second half crown. As long as it is Savannah they are behind, however, it is good, as Savannah WON the first half. So... the team with the second best OVERALL record in the division will gain a playoff spot. The Drive are TIED with Asheville for that spot.

Lowell is 3 1/2 GB of Tri-Valley for Stedler Division Crown. Lowell is 2 GB of West Virginia for Wild-Card.

GCL Red Sox are in the Playoffs.

If you think an AB is missing in the Dustin Lawley/Tim Roberson combo you are right. Lawley apparently forgot to bat in the 1st (or De La Cruz, who batted after him, beat him up).

Went to see the Drive play. Surprised at how small Benintendi was. Great jumps on balls hit to CF. Scary moment when Sopilka got hit in the head. Like Devers`s power alot. Pulled some long shots foul. Moncada got robbed on a ball to CF. When the CFer dove to catch the line drive, Moncada was almost to 2nd. He has real speed. JT Watkins looked good behind the plate but not so good beside it. Jake Drehoff looked bad a couple innings, especially the 1st. Maybe he`s a guy that should be groomed for a bullpen role like people have suggested the Sox start doing. Nick Longhi impressed me too, didn`t realize he was rated #15 by SoxProspects. Just my 2 cents. Remember don`t drink and scream at the opposing team the whole game. It gets old fast.

Longhi is having a solid season in Greenville.  He's probably more of a 4th OF prospect than anything else, but he's held his own in A- so far this year.  If he can develop some power to match his solid plate patience, he'll be a nice depth piece in the org.
