Worcester got the 7 1-run innings from Walter as seem hereinabove. He threw 97 pitches, 64 strikes.

After that Ryan Fernandez allowed 1 hit & struck out 3 in the 8th, & Joe Jacques allowed 1 hit & struck out 2 in the 9th.

Bobby Dalbec went from 2 for 34 or whatever it was to 4-4 today with a homer (31) & a triple (3).

Yu Chang was 2-4 with a homer, a double & a walk.

Niko Kavadas was 1-3 with a double & 2 walks.

C Note was 1-5 with a homer.

Stephen Scott was 1-3 with 2 walks.

Enmanuel Valdez was 1-4 with a walk & a steal (4).

Salem game is tied at 3 in the 8th Portland game is tied at 5 in the 5th (7 inning game).

Greenville won 10-5.

Jordan DiValerio started & went 1.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 3 hits, 1 walk & 2 strikeouts.

Nate Tellier pitched 2.1 scoreless innings with a hit, a walk & 2 strikeouts.

Caleb Bolden pitched 2 innings & allowed a run on 4 hits & a walk.

Gabe Jackson pitched an inning & allowed 2 runs on 3 hits.

Rob Kwiatkowski pitched a scoreless inning with a walk.

& Brock Bell pitched a 1-2-3 9th with a strikeout.

Kristian Campbell was 2-3 with his 1st high-A homer, his 1st high-A steal (& 1st cs), & was hit twice. In 3 games he's hitting .375 with a 1.583 OPS.

Gilberto Jimenez was 2-4 with a homer & 4 RBI.

Tyler Miller was 2-4 with a double & a walk.

Ronaldo Rosario was 2-5.

Roman was 1-5 with a walk & 4 strikeouts.

Sterling Sharp started for Portland I was kind of surprised he only got 2 innings, allowing a run on 2 hits & a walk, striking out 1.

Wyatt Olds also got 2 innings, during which he allowed 4 runs on 4 hits, a walk, a wild pitch & 3 strikeouts.

Brendan Cellucci pitched a scoreless 5th with a hit, a wild pitch & a strikeout.

Jacob Webb allowed a homer in the 6th to cut the lead to 8-6.

Hayden Mullins opened in his 1st game with Salem after a couple outtings in the FCL.

He pitched 1.2 innings, striking out 4 & walking 1.

Nathanael Cruz came in for 1 batter & struck him out.

& then Jedixson Paez came in for the bulk role, 5 IP, 3 runs, 2 ER, with 7 hits, 0 walks, 1 HBP & 3 strikeouts.

JOHANFRAN just hit a solo homer in the bottom of the 9th to tie the game at 4.

Back to the pitching, Railin Perez allowed a run in the 8th on 2 hits, a walk, a wild pitch & 2 strikeouts.

Jonathan Brand had an interesting scoreless 9th with 3 walks & 3 strikeouts.

Dearden grounds out. 2nd & 3rd 2-out for Tyler Esplin. Seems like a reasonable spot to pinch hit Rosier or Yorke but don't see a lot of pinch hitting in the Sox org.

Esplin did have 2 hits today, but grounded out to end the game, 10-8 loss.

Phillip Sikes was 2-4 with a homer & a double.

Brainer Bonaci was 1-2 with a homer & 2 sac flies.
