Drohan has nothing, first three guys have reached on two groundball singles and a walk, missed 0 bats in his first 16 pitches.

Called strike 3 to end the first. 32 pitches, 1 whiff. He really needs his stuff to take another jump this offseason, he just doesn’t miss bats with his fastball and he doesn’t have the control right now to live 92-94 against advanced hitters.

Allowed a homer in the 2nd.

Grant Gambrell being much more efficient. 25 pitches, 19 strikes through 2 scoreless innings, 1 hit, 2 strikeouts.

Casey Cobb allowed 2 runs in the 1st, but exceeded my expectations with 2 scoreless innings after that.

Gabriel Jackson is in for his A+ debut in the 4th.

Greenville up 3-2.

Got out of the jam, Portland still up 2-1 headed to the 9th.

GabeJax allowed 3 hits & a run in his 1st inning of high-A work. He's no Felix Cepeda, but I expect he has it out of his system now.

He did not. He allowed another run in the 5th & left with the bases loaded & 1 out. Fortunately Caleb Bolden came in & induced a double play on his 2nd pitch to end the inning.

I'll assume they should have given him some time to settle in & he'll be fine next time, but this game...1.1 innings, 2 runs, 5 hits, 2 walks, 1 strikeout.

Cam Booser allowed a hit but pitched a scoreless 9th with 3 strikeouts.

Will be a tough comeback in the bottom of the 9th.
