Rafael Devers is 4-4 with a double, triple and walk in his GCL debut.
I was wondering why he didn't play yesterday.  That's awesome to hear.  Realistically, when can we expect him to hit AAA?

Most likely path is 2015 at A/A+, 2016 at A+/AA 2017 AA/AAA 2018 AAA.

Really optomistic would be 2015 A/A+ 2016 AA/AAA and maybe a cup of coffee in the bigs at 19.

Albany area, NY
Caught tonight's Spinner's game.  Karsten Whitson looked okay and nothing more in his debut, topping out at 92 and with some wildness issues.  Sam Travis hit the ball with authority and played a decent first base. He and Danny Mars should be fun to watch moving through the system.  Mars was especially impressive with 3 hits to continue his torrid hitting. He looks really good at the plate and already better than low A ball.  I predict he'll be one of the first Lowell guys promoted.  Oh yeah, and a great fireworks show.  Anyone in the area should try to get out to a game at Bruno stadium here near Albany. It's one of the best minor league stadiums I've ever seen and is always fan friendly
