A full slate of games today, plus a doubleheader for both DSL teams due to lightning on July 17th.

10 a.m. - DSL Red Sox Blue (TBD) @ DSL Tigers 2

10 a.m. - DSL Pirates Gold @ DSL Red Sox Red (TBD)

They have the game 2s listed for 11 a.m., but that seems a bit early.

12 p.m. - FCL Twins @ FCL Red Sox (TBD)

6:35 p.m. - Portland Sea Dogs (Gambrell 3.47 ERA) @ Richmond Flying Squirrels (Jensen 2.75 ERA)

6:45 p.m. - Rochester Red Wings @ Worcester Red Sox (Drohan 5.94 ERA)

7:05 p.m. - Lynchburg Hillcats @ Salem Red Sox (YORDANNY 0.48 ERA)

7:35 p.m. - Greenville Drive (Encarnacion 4.56 ERA) @ Bowling Green Hot Rods

DSL Blue fell behind 13-3 before losing 13-12 in their 1st game.

Some pretty epic relief work from Jesus Garcia. He pitched the last 5 innings without allowing a run, 4 hits, 0 walks, 6 strikeouts. Of course, he is my #78 prospect so not your usual emergency long reliever.

YOELY (#12) was 2-4 with a walk & 3 RBI.

STARLYN (#52) was 1-5 but had a homer & 4 RBI.

Frederik Jimenez (#183) was 3-5 with 2 doubles, a steal & 3 RBI.

Cristofher Paniagua (#159) was 2-3 with 2 walks & a double.

DSL Red won their 1st game 5-3.

WUILLIAMS had a 2nd straight sketchy start. He ended up only pitching 2.1 innings, allowing 2 runs (1 earned) on 5 hits, 1 walk & 1 strikeout, raising his ERA to 1.48. Might have to lower him from my irrationally high #49 ranking.

Cristofer Soriano came in & pitched 2.2 innings of hitless, scoreless relief with 1 walk & 1 strikeout. He seems listable. Lowered his ERA to 2.76. The one downside is he turns 21 in November so he's a bit older for the level. He signed for $10k in July '22 but didn't pitch last season.

After him was Daniel Nunez for the final 4 innings & the win. Nunez allowed 1 run on 2 hits & 2 walks with 6 strikeouts. His ERA is 2.42. I'm a bit confused about why he's not on my list. I'm pretty sure he was at some point? Oh well. He'll be on the next one. He signed for $50k in July '21. He is a bit older for the level, too, but doesn't turn 21 until April.

Andruw Musett (#60) was 1-2 with 3 walks.

Natanael Eusebio (N/R) was 2-4 with a double.

Franklin Arias (#35) was 1-2 before being replaced by Nixson Cueche (#151) who went 1-3.

FCL Red Sox were winning 4-1 after 4 innings when their game got suspended due to rain. It is scheduled to be completed tomorrow.

JOHANFRAN was 1-2 with his 5th homer.

Marvin Alcantara & Bryant Zayas were each 1-2 with a steal.

The rehabbing Christian Koss & the rehabbing Bradley Zimmer were each 1-2 with a double.

The rehabbing Dan Altavilla pitched 1.1 innings of relief with no baserunners & 1 strikeout.

Red Sox Blue also lost their 2nd game, which was 7 innings, 6-4.

YOELY was 2-3 with a double & a walk (so 4-7 with 2 walks on the day).

STARLYN was 2-4.

Juan Henriquez (#72) started the 2nd game for DSL Red. He pitched 4 innings & allowed 1 run with 2 each of hits, walks & strikeouts. He improved his ERA to 3.48.

They were up 3-1, but went off list for 16 y/o Brahian Rijo, who lasted 2/3 of an inning but allowed 4 runs.

They continued to trail 5-3 into the top of the 7th & final inning.

Mayer walked in his 1st AB. He is clearly about to go off (Rosier, Yorke & Meidroth all got out, though).

Drohan had some ups & downs, but got through 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits & 2 walks, with 6 strikeouts.

Justin Hagenman is in to make his Worcester debut after being acquired in the Kiké trade. He pitched a 1-2-3 inning with a strikeout.

Worcester is leading 5-3.

Yordanny is walking way too many people lately. 2 more walks + 2 hits + 2 strikeouts = 2 runs in the 2nd.

He's only thrown 18 strikes in 38 pitches.

Nick Robertson's debut inning with Worcester has not been as good...

He allowed a solo homer in the 8th & 1 other hit, & struck out 1.

Portland game is back on. Dearden drew a bases loaded walk to take a 5-0 lead.

Monegro is having an awful 3rd inning that I choose not to discuss.

Greenville has cut their deficit to 7-4.
