Wait - Margot was promoted?! Not sure what the rush is with him. Despite a recent hot streak, his OBP is only .321, and at only 20 years old, it would seem like he could've stayed in high A to work on that part of his leadoff game

It seems the organization bought into the theory that his injury really put a (big) dent in his numbers during that time. Thru the end of April, he hit .324/.377/.515. He got hurt sometime around that time, played through it for the first half of May, finally copped to the injury and then sat out for 3 weeks. His May line was .135/.175/.135. Since returning from the injury (the month of June), he's hit .316/.342/.474.

Yeah seems pretty clear his injury affected him severely.  Too far of a variance in performance.  As for readiness, I don't mind a bit of aggressiveness.  He had 250 PAs in A+ and hit well over .300 with an OPS over .800; yes the BB% was low but when you're hitting well over .300 it's hard to blame him.

Also, since he isn't really striking out all that often, the BB:K ratio gives a positive read.
