Right on cue!

RBI double for Yosander Asencio in his 1st PA of the season scores Andruw Musett & gives FCL Sox 1-0 lead in the 2nd.

Musett & Asencio are my 2 FCL binkies no one is talking about, yet.

Musett's name has appeared in 5 Tweets since August & they are all as part of the FCL lineup this season.

Asencio has appeared in 1 since July - today's lineup.

Valera doesn't turn 18 until next week, & struggled last year in the DSL (5.93 ERA, 1.72 WHIP), but was competent, albeit wild, today.

2.2 IP, 1 ER, 2 hits, 4 bb, 5 k

He left with the bases loaded & 2 outs in the 9th & Yonfi Rodriguez came in & got a groundout to end the game & pick up the save.

FCL Sox won 6-1.

Mikey Romero was 3-5 with a double.

Andruw Musett was 2-3 with 2 walks.

Karim Ayubi was 2-3 with a double & 2 walks.

YOELY was 1-5 with 3 k's.

Arias was 0-4 with a walk.

Raimundo was 1-4 with a walk & a steal (5).

Yosander was 1-2 with a double. He departed early due to it being his first game back (I assume).

Franyer Noria came in for him & went 1-3 with a double.

Bryce Bonnin started day 2 of yesterday's Greenville game (Hayden Mullins pitched 1 inning before the rain out), & allowed his 1st 2 runs of the season in the 2nd inning. Greenville down 3-2 in the 3rd.

Bonnin allowed 2 runs in 2 IP.

Nathan Landry came in next & pitched 3 scoreless innings, allowing 3 hits & a walk, & striking out 2

Cade Feeney pitched a 1-2-3 7th with a strikeout.

Greenville still down 3-2.

Unsurprisingly, based on my recent analysis, Roman flew out to LF in his 1st PA.

Mayer doubled.

Teel walked.

2-out RBI single for Yorke (Teel thrown out at the plate, though).

Ahbram Liendo was 0-3 with 2 walks & 2 steals (11), but he also got caught for the 1st time.

The 3rd was groundout, groundout strikeout.

But Paez allowed a 2-run homer in the 4th.

Speaking of unearned runs, Jason Alexander allowed 5 runs in 4 IP, but only 2 were earned.

Nathan Hickey appears to be not an elite 1B.

Lucas Luetge pitched 2 scoreless with a hit & 2 strikeouts.

Luis Guerrero pitched a 1-2-3 7th with 2 strikeouts.

Worcester also down 5-1.

Guerrero almost pitched around 3 singles with the help of a GIDP, but a run scored on a wp & Worcester is trailing 6-4 headed to the 9th.

Natty Cruz allowed an an unearned run in the 9th (on his own throwing error... I've stated how I feel about those) & picked up the save.

Salem won 5-3.
