Kutter Crawford is a bit of a slow starter.
April and May, including tonight:
14 2/3 IP, 17 ER, 5 HR, 10 BB, 15K, 10.43 ERA

June and July:
37 IP, 12 ER, 4 HR, 8 BB, 36K 2.92 ERA

Unfortunately, he also sucked in August and September last year.

I'll take it.

Casas gets to face the righty now instead of the LHP with the unspeakable name

Got one back. Bullpen just needs to hold the line and I think we’ll at least put together a rally and give ourselves a chance.

He's been swinging outside the zone more than he did last season. Oh well got one back.
I think he needs to make an adjustment and be less patient. The 1-1 pitch was crushable, but then he had to swing at two pitches with 2 strikes because it wasn't a perfect pitch. Seems like they know if they put it in the zone in a place that he doesn't want it with less than two strikes he will lay off, and they can get ahead.

Edit: Waiting for "your pitch" is a great skill, until it becomes all consuming and detrimental. MLB pitchers can take advantage of that.

I'm really tired of the whole 'score early like a juggernaut then lapse into a coma thinking it was enough' schtick the Sox do. Because it rarely is.

Not sure if this is serious or sarcasm.
Ummm. I have no idea what you’re talking about. The little boy’s parents need to step up and parent and teach the kid the right thing to do. I’m a parent of 3. Trust me, I know how to parent and I am 100% serious.

How could it even be construed as sarcasm?

If astronauts go into outer space and aquanauts going under water, where do juggernauts go?
