If we were just focused on winning this series, Al should be playing more minutes than KP. Al hedges, rotates well. KP not so much.
I’m just not sure Al’s legs can handle it? His shot was dead in the ECF last year, from what I remember, because he had no legs left.

Miami breaking out the full-goon defense where they dare refs to call much of it.

A Riley classic back to his late-era Laker days

Heat use Thomas Bryant instead of Love to stay in man.

I guess he's better in man and switch than Love? But that's not saying much. Celtics should be able to abuse him defensively

I kind of wonder if they try Highsmith at center - sure, you risk getting beat inside but Bryant isn't helping a lot there and Highsmith is a good switch defender at least

I love how sports commentary takes a one game sample and asks whether or not player X has leveled up their game because of a great result. No, Tyler Herro did not level up his game after game 2.

Agreed, you have to play the game in front of you. That said, the replay of KP under the hoop getting shoved and grabbed by two heat players on the jump ball call was pretty egregious
As you know the NBA has been letting them play the last two months.

Were I am member of the Cs staff, I would tell them that Miami should be expected to get really physical and the officials will likely let them get away with a lot. Play through it and don't let it take you out of the game. It looks like they all understand that already so its ok.

The Heat are manhandling them - and getting away with it. But scoreboard.

Keep taking Tyler. Such a fucking tough guy. Go find some more loose pubes to glue to your chin

for sure, I'm 100% with you. that replay annoyed me as a fan, but the C's are handling it and that's what matters

Totally agree.

The calls tonight are bad because they are inconsistnet - but it's a certainty Miami will be pushing the limits of physicality each game this series and a bunch of it won't get called. Tatum and KP in particular need to realize that and stop gesticulating about it
