Tonight feels like a Tatum masterclass, he had 11 less touches in game 2 than he did in the first, no way that doesn’t flip back the other way.

Also, my hatred for the Heat has been reinvigorated

A win is what’s most important. But a win that doesn’t have me pacing around my basement drinking shitty Passover wine and screaming at the TV would do a lot for my mental health.

Start strong and remind these assholes they aren’t in the same class we are.

I hope KP and JH can bounce back from being abominations on the court.

Need some toughness tonight from the team. If Porzingis is shit again, give some minutes to Oshae or Kornet.

Adjustment-wise, I doubt Miami has the same approach initially (switching-oriented man). I'd guess they start out with a lot of zone or traps, expecting Celtics will have countered the switch man. But we'll see that eventually too.

When we do, need JH and KP not to suck; that alone is enough.

Also won't be surprised if JB is super-charged today and aggressive both early and when they switch Herro onto him.

Finally, I expect Celts to force more threes (which I probably won't like or agree with) because I believe Joe will have the takeaway from game 2 they lost the 3 pt math. That's not wrong, but this team needs to get to those the right away or else they risk the other profile of a loss---they shoot 20% or less on threes many of which are off the dribble.

Stay strong today boys

I'm going to watch, reluctantly, at least the start. We'll see how long I make it. I said before the series I might avoid it altogether. Then game 1 happened and was so much fun that I got sucked in. Then totally punched in the gut in game 2. Somehow this has been more stressful to me than the Bruins series. Maybe because the pressure is so much higher.

I am so stressed and yet I am supposed to be relaxed and fun and generally interested in whatever is going on around me.

Kornet available?

Accroding to SVG, what CJM said he's going to do is run more and crash the glass.

The best news for Mimai thus far is there are no fouls being called on them---ultimately that's a key for them

Tough crowd. The Heats only field goal is a miracle behind-the-backboard heave.

jb needs to dial it back a bit?
I think the plan was to establish he could win one-on-one to force doubles/rotations.

It isn't working. But I'm not sure it's the wrong idea, or at least that going at Herro isn't the wrong idea. The looks are ok, not great but not awful either.

If Tillman comes off the bench and posters Bam on his “screen “ that would be most satisfying.
