Olivares's wildness extended to his fielding in the 4th, picking up a throwing error & then allowing a 2-run homer to tie the game up.

Lugo & then Anthony/Mayer/Teel due up in the bottom of the 7th.

After a couple really nice starts, Connelly Early didn't make it out of the 4th inning today:

He's a lot more on the radar than Yordanny was. I'll go with...Gilberto Batista as this year's Yordanny.

But yeah, I think ERC will be in Greenville soon. Control not so good today.

That fizzled out (& GameDay didn't move your like 30 minutes), but Teel did get a walk & a steal.

Jacob Webb pitched a scoreless 8th with a hit & a strikeout. & The Kwiat Assassin pitched a 1-2-3 9th with a strikeout.

2-2 bottom 9.

Miguel Bleis came in for Jhostynxon Garcia as a defensive replacement in the top of the 6th. Not sure why.

The Kwiat Assassin gets the win & is now 3-0 (all other Portland pitchers are 4-4).

MARCELO was 3-5 with a double & the game winning hit.

TEEL was 1-3 with a homer, a walk & a steal.

ROMAN was 0-3 with 2 walks.

Lugo was 1-3 with a walk.

Donlan was 1-3 with a double.

Decker pinch hit for Donlan in the 9th, got hit, & scored the winning run.

Blaze & Sikes were 1-4.

Paulino & Yorke were 0-3 with a walk.

Landry was not particularly effective, but he did what he needed to do to eat some innings & his last inning was actually by far his best (1-2-3 with 2 strikeouts):
