2 hits for JBJ today. Nice to see him off to a good start, hope he's figuring things out at the plate.  Obviously, all he has to do is become something like a reasonable hitter to make himself a valuable major league player.

Pawsox are in the middle of their second consecutive extra-inning game. The Pawsox ran out of pitchers after 12... So SS Jeff Bianchi has thrown 3 innings. He did allow the tying run in the bottom of the 13th... but had a scoreless 14th and 15th. Bianchi has been super efficient, having thrown just 19 pitches in his 3 innings of work.

Lehigh Valley has just called in their DH Russ Canzler for pitching duties to start the top of the 16th.
