What. The. Fuck. The Four Peters said:I actually like this Flyers team, I'm definitely rooting for them tonight.
It would be a 4th team, no? The Wings and the Penguins did it before the Bruins did.The Four Peters said:I actually like this Flyers team, I'm definitely rooting for them tonight. I would absolutely be rooting for them against Pittsburgh as well, I think it would be a really fun ECF to play against them.
I think Colorado wins as well, and so do the Kings. Would love to have a second team added to the 3-0 list of infamy.
This is a true statement.TheStoryofYourRedRightAnkle said:It would be a 4th team, no? The Wings and the Penguins did it before the Bruins did.
You're gross. The Four Peters said:Once Philly lost Pronger, Richards, Briere, Carcillo et al they became imminently more like-able in my eyes. Giroux is an absolute stud, and Hartnell/Simmonds are two guys I would take on the Bruins no questions asked. Add the Steve Mason redemption story to the mix and I'm definitely rooting for them over either the Fighting Vigneaults or the Pens.
I will admit the NYR are infinitely more unlikable than the Flyers.cshea said:I'm sort of indifferent towards both the Rangers and the Flyers right now, but AV, Brian Boyle, Dan Carcillo, etc. tips the scales towards the Rangers for me.
I hate them all, just like I hate youFL4WL3SS said:I will admit the NYR are infinitely more unlikable than the Flyers.
But saying you actually like the Flyers. I don't even know.
Rooted for Flyers against Penguins few years ago. Easy to do against Pens, and in this situation Rangers. But they will never be likeableFL4WL3SS said:I will admit the NYR are infinitely more unlikable than the Flyers.

If I mentioned for the 5 millionth time that I hated fighting, then yes I would be KPD.cshea said:KPD, is that you?
The "San Jose and Joe Thornton are chokers" is largely a creation steming from Dupont's "Full Thornton" meme. It was amusing, but it is not really true. In the 8 years he's been in San Jose, they've made the playoffs all 8 times and he's led them in playoff scoring 5 of the 8 years. The exceptions are his first year when Marleau clipped him by a point, '09/'10 when Dan Boyle led the team in playoff scoring (The Heatley/Thornton/Marleau year) and last year when Pavelski led the team by 1 point over Thornton. His is having a poor series right now, though. Under Joe, San Jose has been out of the first round in 6 of his 8 years. Can't get over the hump? Absolutely. Chokers? I'm not sure that's accurate.RedOctober3829 said:If I mentioned for the 5 millionth time that I hated fighting, then yes I would be KPD.
True enough. The draft's in Philly so if that does happen we'll at least be treated to a post-trade lynching.TheStoryofYourRedRightAnkle said:Like you won't be anyways

Classic! Hey, you've got a thumb on the other side for the remote, or just double dip.The Napkin said:Or do I?
I wasn't really going by his personal accomplishments. His teams have gotten high seeds almost every season since his arrival in the middle of 2005, yet they've been to the WCF only twice and have a 1-8 record in those 2 appearances.cshea said:The "San Jose and Joe Thornton are chokers" is largely a creation steming from Dupont's "Full Thornton" meme. They've also done this before. Pissed away a 3-0 series lead before prevailing in Game 7 on home ice.
