He got tagged really hard with one, and Rinaldo got a second solid right in there as well. I'm glad they ended it. Iggy did not have a good fight there.

Still, I got no problem with him challenging him. Iggy fights his own battles, and felt he got run a bit there.
Rinaldo just came out throwing, there was no sizing up. Gloves off, haymakers thrown. He caught Iggy by surprise.

I'm sure Thornton will offer with Rinaldo later on. We'll see if he accepts.

That was dumb. Puck somehow sneaks through eight guys and Marchand totally Ovechkin'd that one.

Tuukka lost that one it looked like... Never got over to cover that angle at all and was left flailing

I don't know why he'd be surprised after going over and shoving the guy who just smoked him with a clean hit.

The extra shot wasn't all that great.

Then Iginla will just prove to be a fool. He has zero to gain and much to lose in engaging with Rinaldo. I imagine the Flyers would be happy to lose Rinaldo for 5 minutes if it gets Iggy off for the same length. Plus, I don't think it happened the way you suggest. I saw Iggy ticked because he got laid out with a big hit and eager to tell Rinaldo about it. Rinaldo wasn't paying attention to him after the check until Iggy got in his face.

Here
Iggy was probably frustrated with the game thus far and made an emotional decision. He's a smart guy, I'm not too worried about the future.

Gotta stop this "goals against in the last minute of the period" trend.

Three of their last four goals allowed have come with less than one minute remaining. Didn't they have a similar period earlier in the season when they kept giving up late goals?

Settle down. Iggy initiated the fight, he just didn't expect Rinaldo to be punching him right after the gloves went off. Bad mistake by Iggy, I don't disagree. I just don't think Iggy was expecting that quick flurry of punches, that's all.

Got to hand it to the Flyers so far. They are punching the Bruins in the mouth, and standing up to them physically. They are probably one of two or three teams that can play with them that way, and man is it fun to watch. This would be a fun series if they played each other.
