What's up with Duran's hair? He booked for a program with Jimmy Valiant in mid-south championship wrestling on his off days?

It’s March is perfectly normal for pitchers to be ahead of the hitters

right? Right?

I am generally pretty optimistic about this team. More than the average fan, that’s for sure. There are a ton of players I consider breakout candidates and guys that should be finally healthy and ready to produce.

But not Trevor Story. I have 0% confidence in him.

I just came back from a funeral for my uncle - a Vietnam vet, assigned to NATO for a number of years, and worked at the Pentagon for decades. A damned hero. Husband, father of two, grandfather of four, all that good stuff. He also rebuilt two Ford Woodies and had a wicked sense of humor. Him and his wife let me live with them for a brief spell when I was out of college and trying to figure out what to do with my life.

He was also an avid Sox fan. We never missed the chance to watch a game together on the all too rare occasions we saw each other.

Lot of loss for a lot of people at the start of this season - from posters here to some of our most beloved Sox icons to the various people in our own lives we've said goodbye to. I've been a pessimist about this years team but, fuck it, go win it for all of those who can't be here to watch tonight.

Watching the pregame and wondering when the heck does this game start?

forgot how mlb.tv starts pregame from the beginning and you have to move up to live.

so I’m off to a bad start!
