Pats had to have a lower grade on Kingsley to not move up for him there at a big position of need.

Maybe the Patriots tried to trade and nobody would, but they have shown no urgency at all in trying to find a tackle either in the draft or FA.

My theory is they wanted Coleman. When he went they panicked and picked Polk early because they figured he wouldn't be there later. Just a miss all around, pretty obvious Polk still would have been there and they missed out on a tackle as a result. Just poor asset management IMO.

I mean all of this is baseless speculation. Every sentence and then it compounds to a conclusion. Guilty!!!!

Hopefully the Pats will be able to pick up a decent OT after rosters get cut down in August, because I don't know if they're getting one tonight.

Probably better off using their top likely top 10 pick next year on a higher probability OT than drafting a project this year. I’d either double dip on WR or pick the highest rated defender on their board, think that’s where the value is here.

I do wonder if the Patriots were trying to get into the late 2nd for an OT and just couldn't find a trade partner. Would explain why KC had to pay such a steep price to move up 1 spot

Players left I like for offense,
Javon Baker WR UCF - might be a round early but would fill the need as a downfield deep threat.
Ja'Tavion Sanders - athletic move TE
Trey Benson - electric RB
I'd say Roman Wilson would be good value but he is too duplicative with the rest of their WRs.

Matt Goncalves was projected to go late 2nd to the Chiefs, and can play both RT and LT - is he not worth grabbing at this point at a position of need?
I hadn't seen him above mid-3rd anywhere usually later.

But sure it's the 3rd now, boards are all over the place. Goncalves, Amendajie, Coleman, a WR, a CB, a S and edge, could be anything.

This had him going at 64.

I am by no means a prospect/draft guy. So I have no idea. Was asking because the thread makes it seem like no one left is worth taking.

Looking at production in a vacuum, Tez Walker wouldn't be the guy I draft here. However, him being a true X, the Maye relationship, size, etc. I could be convinced.
