Yeah this is probably true. Shrager’s mock had him going 32 so not a complete outlier. Jakobi Meyers with more juice is one comp that makes sense based on what I’ve seen. Very good blocker and reported dawg, so I can get down with it.
I will take Jakobi Meyers with more juice all day, Polk seems like a much more physical player and a better blocker.

Yeah I’m a bit conflicted in that we got a guy I wanted but a round early. But happy overall. I think he’s a good player and can play flanker. That, plus hoping Pop becomes Maye’s new Josh Downs in the slot gives me a glimmer of hopium for the future on O

Holy shit this Indy/Bucks game!

In the range where 68 + 110 for a mid-50s pick and a 6th type trade starts to work if the Pats want to move up for a tackle…

Polk goes and gets the ball. He doesn't wait for it. I like receivers that go and get the ball.

I do, however, have PTSD from another 4.5+ wide receiver from the Pac-12 that was known for going and getting the ball in college.

Let's hope Polk is more Davante Adams than N'Keal Harry.

Wonder what their board looks like... if they have 3 guys clumped... might just see who falls to 68. All the DTs really messed up what people thought was gonna happen,

So apparently the to WR run is still going in the second round, which seems to make the pick of a WR better in hindsight. Not a single OT taken in the second round so far. I'm all for Sua. What better pair of a QB that needs a red shirt year than a LT that needs a red shirt year.

Quasi tank and rack up more high picks for next year. It's not like we're winning the Super Bowl with Brisset or Maye.

Production? Ok Mel. 3 caches or fewer in 11 of 14 games.
He has a legitimately terrible production/analytics profile. Tools alone make it worth a shot but as a guy who didn’t produce and has legit character concerns, it’s a big risk

ANOTHER DT?

Man... I am starting to feel like the Patriots are going to get one of the OT I wanted in the 30s without moving up

Once one goes, I bet three go in five picks. If they have two good options in mind they can wait but as soon as one goes they have to hope a team will trade.

A cold shiver just ran up my spine.

For what it's worth here are their NFL.com Prospect Grades:

Adams: 89
Harry: 80
Polk: 80

Adams: 6'1", 212 lbs
Harry: 6'2", 228 lbs
Polk: 6'1", 203 lbs

Adams: 4.56 40-time, 1.64 10-yard split, 39.5" vertical
Harry: 4.53 40-time, 1.55 10-yard split, 38.5" vertical
Polk: 4.52 40-time, 1.52 10-yard split, 37.5" vertical

Throw Brandon Aiyuk in there for a fun surprise.

All the teams picking now are playoff teams. OT seems like a type of move you make when you have the more flashy impact spots full. I would not be surprised to see four more go before 68.
