Who I think is the best is different than who I think has earned top 4.

I’m fine with the rankings as they are.

I think on a neutral field that Psycho Lanning’s Ducks would beat anyone.

I’m rooting for the Noles, of course.

Unlikely to be any movement in the top 8.

After yesterday’s games here’s how I would rank them:

1. Washington
2. Florida State
3. Georgia
4. Michigan
5. Ohio State
6. Oregon
7. Texas
8. Alabama
9. Tennessee
10. Utah

I don’t think Texas has a clear route to the playoff unless there are some pretty big upsets. I think our ceiling is #5.

UGa-Oregon would be my ideal title tilt but constrained by the reality of how teams have played and who teams have played:

1 UGa
2 Washington
3 Fla State
4 Ohio State
5 Oregon
6 Michigan
7 Alabama
8 Texas
9 PSU
10 Louisville

I don’t feel great about the Noles against any of the top teams but it’s tough to say. They really seem like they are scrimmaging for a while then decide to get serious.

The QB is also not running much and it’s seems like they are trying to win without doing that. Miami has good players and they will treat this as their game of the year so we will see what happens.

Gutty win by the Horns in Ames. Now just Tech but in Austin. Still a huge longshot to make the playoff but stranger things have happened.

No idea how to rate Michigan given the Harbaugh stuff.

I’ve said all along that McCarthy is the weak link and I still believe that to be true.

I'm rooting for Alabama, Iowa, Oregon, and Louisville this weekend.
I want to see the committee squirm.
Latter two won’t do anything to squirm quotient
(Oregon replaces Wash and Texas replaces FSU if they beat Oklahoma. If not then Ohio State (or Georgia if they lose)
Maybe something would happen with Iowa but I don’t see a chance of rhat. Iowa has no offense

Alabama Georgia is the big one, especially if in concert with FSU and Texas losing
