Let's do this. 0-0 after an inning. Marcelo with the only hit in the 1st, and a steal.

James Wood is a specimen, holy smokes.

On Peacock and SiriusXM, for those who want to watch.

Definitely wouldn’t want to put this on regular TV to promote the game. GJGE MLB!

Not their strong suit, for sure. I'm sure Peacock/Sirius paid bananas money for it.

Klein from the Royals gets pulled for pitch count because of two Holliday miscues and was not happy. Harold Reynolds told him the organization had put him on the pitch count and there was nothing he could do about. Then the kid apologized.

I have Peacock and not ESPN so this is for me. Nice double by Yorke
I am getting more excited about this kid by the week. I know he struggled last year, but sometimes going through some adversity helps, and based off of some of the stories I have read he just seems like he has "IT". I really think him and Mayer are going to be a middle infield combo that other teams are going to be really jealous of.

This was a lot of fun. The sport is in good hands.

I know we crapped on him a lot when he was doing analyst stuff, but Harold Reynolds seems like such a great choice for manager in this kind of an event.

And Roman has to play somewhere too!!
The future is exciting as hell for this franchise.

EDIT--Duh, he's playing in the OF. Nevermind, but the point still stands!

Man, can you imagine if instead of taking Cutter Coffee the Sox had taken Whisenhunt? That changeup is so goddamn filthy.

Coffey turned 19 like two months ago, is there a reason we've deemed his selection a failure?
He definitely hasn't popped the way a lot of our guys have, but yeah, he's still got time. & he's already stealing lots of bases.

I thought he was a mediocre, limited hitter at the time and he has done little to dispel that notion. But it's really less about him and more about Whisenhunt who I thought was arguably the best pitcher in last year's class and would've represented a fast moving, high upside lefty to pair with Bello as longterm anchors in the rotation. There's not a pitcher in this draft I like as much as I liked Whisenhunt, but I'm a sucker for changeup artists with command potential.
