My condolences, j-man. It’s tough to lose a loved one, and especially so when it happens during the holidays. Take care of yourself, and please don’t be a stranger around here. Community is key, and this is a great one.

any dad whose son writes about him like that is the best dad. A lot of us had the best dad, but yours was definitely in the category of the best dad.

hopefully your memories will give you some comfort. We’re all so sorry for your loss J-Man.

denver won today the Def is for real and payton is proving he is a top 5 coach denver will at least get to 8 wins but due to loss aga Wash and NYJ 10-7 is a hard ask

i know any team can beat any team but a denver win sat makes 11-6 likely
@ det cambell worked for paytson in no unless goff can trhow for 250 and no ints denver can win that
NE always have to repect what bill has done but lack of playmakers will be their undoing
lac they will want to win but statley will do something off
@ vagas unless wilson plays like in kc it's a win

First: Sorry about the passing of your dad. It doesn't ever go away.
Second: Major surgery can change you. It took me years to recover after mine.

i have passed around 12 stones i will not know if i am 100% utill dec 29th but its looking good
on the broncos today games has made the playoffs a longshot because denver needs 2 hou L'S a buff L a ciny L a pitt L or 2 CLE L'S go jets
anyway to finesh 9-8 or 10-7 after starting 1-5 wouild show progess and make 2024 a chance to win the afc west

well on broncos groups on facebook i am a member of they want to get rid of the qb etc

but not that easy when cutting wilson wouild mean a 85 mil cap hit

so here is a earty starting lineup of the 24 broncos

QB - wilson we are locked into him through 2025
RB take u pick J-will or mcglahin
WR sutton jerdy has to be back in 24 12 mil dead cap hit mims b johnson
TE this is the 1 area on off where i have littie idea duluch gets hurt too much
LT Bolies or ?
LG Powers
c crush
rg mentz
rt mike m

9 starters shouild be back on off
DE Z Allen
DT DJ Jones or draft pick
DE ?
Lolb nic b
mib singletion
mlb ?
rolb browning
CB Surtain mcmellen nickel
FS Simmons or trade
ss locke or stetns

denver is 17 mil over next year cap the easyest to fix that is tradeing simmons and g bolies for 2nd round picks as denver has no round 2 pick

Looks like Russ is done in Denver. Rap saying the Broncos are "strongly" considering benching him to preserve financial flexibility.

I hate the Broncos but this is BS and their fans should be pissed off. They still have a chance to make the playoffs; they need help but the teams in front of them have been struggling (Chiefs, Steelers) or just aren't very good / have key injuries (AFC South). And the reasoning is to save the possibility of having to guarantee his salary next year? Am I missing something?

People are comparing this to the Carr benching but Wilson has played well this year and the Raiders were eliminated from the playoffs at that point. If you want to cut him in the offseason whatever but giving up on the season when you still have a chance is a stink that should hang with Payton for a long time.

IIRC tiebreakers are extremely unfavorable.
