Just like Jamal Adams!Sauce Gardner, good pick for the Jets sadly.
Eh, he's no Stingley.The Jets didn’t just get Revis Island 2, did they?
Hopefully he at least getsThat kid should announce the rest of the picks

@RapSheet
A big-time scare before the Draft: #Georgia’s Travon Walker was in a serious car accident in Athens, GA before the draft, crashing into two parked cars, per me and
@TomPelissero
. He emerged without injuries somehow. No citations. But a scare for sure.
Goodell is Barry Horowitz in this scenario.Kid is treating it as a wrestling event (and he's absolutely right).
clearly a guy meant to be a Jets pick
Did he think he was going to the jets with that color scheme?Nice suit for Ekwonu.
CelticsDid he think he was going to the jets with that color scheme?
glad he is ok - but wow I’d be nervous about a guy who got into a serious accident with 2 parked cars
Damn, I’m old. I just use to check the Globe next day to see the picks. My only interest was did anyone from BC or Harvard get picked? (Rare)The point is it is fun to feel suspense and the cathartic release of a new player being called out live on TV since we all grew up in a time before Twitter and are just trying to regain some of the whimsy we felt as kids waiting to see who’s help us compete for an ever-elusive title, and the excitement was equally grand whether that name was Drew Bledsoe or Ras-I Dowling. The discourse can wait 10 minutes.
Maybe the family has Nigeria roots? My guess anyway.Did he think he was going to the jets with that color scheme?
Travon Walker is the greatest athlete to get away with drunkenly hitting a parked car (allegedly) since Mo Vaughn coming back from the Foxy Lady in 1998
Still processing the "no citataions" part. Were those cars magnetized or something?glad he is ok - but wow I’d be nervous about a guy who got into a serious accident with 2 parked cars
Living up to the username.Did he think he was going to the jets with that color scheme?
Per ESPN, that is indeed the case. Dad’s a doctor, mom’s a track star.Maybe the family has Nigeria roots? My guess anyway.
Does one get bonus points for hitting two?Travon Walker is the greatest athlete to get away with drunkenly hitting a parked car (allegedly) since Mo Vaughn coming back from the Foxy Lady in 1998
If Athens PD tried to charge him, Kirby would have gotten his badge and gun.
Yes, that is correct. Father is Nigerian.Maybe the family has Nigeria roots? My guess anyway.
Good point, he’s twice the player Mo wasDoes one get bonus points for hitting two?
I dunno, Mo was pretty big later in his career...Good point, he’s twice the player Mo was
He was practicing for the JetsThat gif is cool and all, but I doubt it's part of the NYG blocking scheme
My HS principal at Peabody High in the 70s would take draft day off every year and follow along in his draft room/basement.Damn, I’m old. I just use to check the Globe next day to see the picks. My only interest was did anyone from BC or Harvard get picked? (Rare)
When they started televising the draft I thought that was the stupidest thing ever. Who would watch that?
Years ago, my father-in-law discovered that if both his cars were damaged in the same accident, his deductible would be waived. So he rammed one car into the other in the driveway and claimed it was accidental. (I assume his homeowner’s insurance covered the deductibles or something.)Does one get bonus points for hitting two?
Their WR room right now makes the 2020 Pats look talented...The Falcons have like 15 needs, who are we kidding
We all do the same thing, except we're in our mom's basement.My HS principal at Peabody High in the 70s would take draft day off every year and follow along in his draft room/basement.
