Except they’re gonna wave it off. FUCK that.Wiggins just killed Luka.
He definitely did not. His arm hit him in the chest. Complete acting job from Doncic (who is underrated as a whiner and foul merchant)That was an offensive foul, it’s a good call. He forearmed his face. But I wish it wasn’t lol.
He didn't shove him, he was shielding his own body. Which is allowed. You see the same thing on almost every poster dunk ever. How is it overturned? I mean he hit/shoved him with his offhand.
Ok the chest, but he extended his arm out.He definitely did not. His arm hit him in the chest. Complete acting job from Doncic (who is underrated as a whiner and foul merchant)
Yet it’s a 3-possession gameThis is a dissection without anasthesia
I don't think anyone is beating the Warriors unless they start playing a lot worse than they have been. If it is the Heat, they will get swept by the Warriors. This GSW is going to be a tough out with all this rest.
Over the course of the game defense wasn’t Dallas’ issue. Golden St played well but didn’t set the world on fire on either end really. The Mavs problem was Bullock and Kleber shooting a combined 0-15!! 12 of those from 3 and most clean looks. Look at all those empty possessions. But the Mavs can’t seem to get a stop.
Healthy Celts, and probably healthy Heat, can beat this impressive (but not juggernaut) Warriors. Alas, odds of either of the ECF teams being less healthy than they are now have got to be nearly 100%.And they are both very dinged right now.I don't think anyone is beating the Warriors unless they start playing a lot worse than they have been. Can there be a Lowry carve out?Healthy Celts, and probably healthy Heat, can beat this impressive (but not juggernaut) Warriors. Alas, odds of either of the ECF teams being less healthy than they are now have got to be nearly 100%.And they are both very dinged right now.
Maybe celts and heat should form a non-aggression pact to try to avoid more injuries?
(Not Serious About The Above)
Oh, for sure. I’m just talking about the last few minutes when the Mavs were trying to scratch back.Over the course of the game defense wasn’t Dallas’ issue. Dallas matches up very poorly with the Warriors. They don't have the length and athleticism on defense to trouble the Dubs, and on offense they're too one-dimensional. Unless Dallas gets hot from 3 (like in the first half of Game 2), they just can't keep pace with GS. Memphis was a much more difficult opponent because they had the athletes to really bother the Warriors defensively.I don't think anyone is beating the Warriors unless they start playing a lot worse than they have been. If it is the Heat, they will get swept by the Warriors.
Maybe it has something to do with the team you root for? That said, I agree that I had hoped for a better WCF than we've had to date.Is it just me, or in the last few years have we had really disappointing playoffs after seasons in which it looked like everything was lining up for something epic? Not a lot to be invested in unless your a big fan of one of the teams left.
I mean you can’t be implying that an NBA game is over in the 1Q right?2022 playoffs continue to be hot garbage decided pretty much in the 1q
Dude a majority of the playoffs has been trash blowouts. A real lack of quality throughout the league.I mean you can’t be implying that an NBA game is over in the 1Q right?
I actually don’t like what I’m seeing here after the first 6-7 minutes. Actually played a little on the other side.Dude a majority of the playoffs has been trash blowouts. A real lack of quality throughout the league.
I revise my assessment. Pure hot steaming garbage. Teams routinely mailing in games after the first few minutes dont go their way.I actually don’t like what I’m seeing here after the first 6-7 minutes. Actually played a little on the other side.
I think at least part of this is due to the tight schedule and lesser recovery time (at least in the 2 final series).View: https://mobile.twitter.com/KevinOConnorNBA/status/1528939033379880960

Margin of victory, last 17 playoff games: 20 9 6 9 25 25 11 33 28 13 14 27 9 3 39 30 35 Average margin of victory has been 19.8 points. There's been a total of 7 clutch time minutes.

Only 7 total clutch time minutes and an average victory of 19.8 points over the last 17 games is absolutely nuts.
I’ve been pulling my hair out over this. The regular NBA in-season schedule is almost lackadaisical in his sparse it is. There are some weeks I think teams only play two or three games. Why they actually then play any back-to-backs is beyond me. And then, in the most important games of the year, playoff teams pretty much play every other night regardless of travel.I think at least part of this is due to the tight schedule and lesser recovery time (at least in the 2 final series).
There are more moving parts during the regular season including the league making their best effort to construct a reasonable travel schedule of road teams which is required by the CBA. The league also much have the teams at home for the purpose of players having a certain number of required “days off” with no team activities while squeezing in 82 games within the required x number of days. These are all CBA-related topics for the regular season and restrictions that don’t occur during the playoffs.I’ve been pulling my hair out over this. The NBA regular season started on October 19 and ended April 10. That's 82 games in 174 days. While that's not quite a game every other day, it does include breaks for the All-Star game as for some teams a mini-break over Christmas (Cs for example played 12.22, had two days off, played 12.25, had another day off, and then played 12.27).I’ve been pulling my hair out over this. The weird thing is, didn’t this happen a lot in rounds 1 and 2? Didn’t the Celts get 3 days off between one of their games?Hockey playoffs also play into the playoff schedule. As do things like TV ratings. I get it all but I just think the contrast—especially when you add the different whistle—is pretty striking. Other than Horford and Rob, this is generally a young, healthy team and yet this playoff run is potentially in jeopardy because of two factors that really shouldn’t be factors. Meanwhile, as has been noted there have been a ton of blowouts across the league.
I’m not losing my mind over it—I still think the Celtics are in good shape and nobody’s died yet—but if I’m Adam Silver I might try to stretch things out a bit schedule-wise to ensure the best teams play the best games at the best time of year.
Would it be wrong to simply hope for extending the series under the theory that the Warriors would like any team be at risk to the normal bumps, bruises/sprains as any team and that might help the Cs if they advance? I'd never HOPE for an injury, but as both the Cs and Heat have seen, the longer you play the more stuff happens.A much as I'd like to see the Mavs partake of the gift that keeps on giving, I sense the '04 Sox are not in any danger of sharing honors. At this point I'm hoping that rust overtakes the relaxation the Warriors seem poised to grab and it presents a problem in the G1 Finals, no matter who they play.
That is one reason why I am rooting Dallas today (despite my non-love for most things Texas)Would it be wrong to simply hope for extending the series under the theory that the Warriors would like any team be at risk to the normal bumps, bruises/sprains as any team and that might help the Cs if they advance? Did Jerry Jones finance this stadium? How the fuck is there a leak in the roof
