Maybe it's prior Ryder Cups talking but there's no way that at least one of the European players doesn't hit his birdie put on 18.

So sick of that jackass yelling, "Never had a chance" at the Euros putts. Especially as Hatton's lips out.

There's a good rowdiness in a Ryder Cup crowd, but then there is just unnecessary idiocy.
Just heard someone yell “Nope!” After Hovland hit one to the middle of the green on 17.

Idiots gotta idiot.

Feels like the next four shots could have a significant impact on the tournament one way or the other.

I don't even watch golf, except for the Ryder cup, and it always feels a bit like you can feel what the big moments are on Friday and Saturday while they are happening. If one side can grab the full point here it's huge.

I’m not disagreeing, but can you elaborate?
Panic is probably the wrong world. Bizarre is probably better.

Sitting Rory feels knee jerk.He wasn’t good yesterday but they pretty much need him if they are going to win. Westwood and Fitz weren’t particularly good yesterday, they only made 1 birdie as a pair. Casey has been a bit uninspiring and is now playing his 3rd match. I dunno. It kinda feels like they picked pairs out of a hat, kinda like what the US was always criticized for.

Sitting Rory and playing Westwood is definitely some crazy decision making there.

That’s fair.

I’ve been puzzling over the Rory question myself, and I can’t kill the move given how bad he was yesterday. At the same time, he’s Rory, so if it were my call, I’d keep running him out there.

(Narrator: “It’s not his call. It will never be his call.”)

I would’ve played him. If he sucks, he sucks but at least I’m going down with my best. Put him behind Rahm, hope you get those two matches and swing the momentum’s.

But….3 holes played, possibly 3 wins for the US here.

Has the Ryder cup ever been won in the first two days? It’s possible but would require almost perfection right?
