I'm just flipping through the channels, and end up watching some of it. One of Nebraska's players gets hit with a pitch in his ride side, stays in the game and initially appears to be 'OK'. Later in the game when he comes back up to the plate, the announcers and everyone sees him batting with only one hand. He literally cannot lift his right arm/side. He actually does a nice bunt, but is thrown out. Bottom half of the inning, he's in LF. Ball gets hit to him, and he has to run the ball into the IF because he can't throw it. Finally, and mercifully, little league officials notice this, and it looks like they force the coach to take him out.
The announcers seemed to justify the coach, saying they only had one sub, which seems a little incredulous. I'm really curious to see what comes of this, I admire the kid for toughing it out, but he was clearly injured and the coach should've have taken him out. Nebraska was in control the whole game, and the game never was in doubt from what I saw.
