My New Years resolution is to lose the weight in my fat thumbs*you
If they had changed it then that would have been a change as to how it was called all year. That was definitely a push. They haven’t been giving it all year, but it was a push off.
Nah, that was hand fighting both waysNot going to look at it? LOL.
Saints get jobbed two years in a row.
They did look. All scores are reviewed. It just didn't take long.Wait, what?!?
I mean I didn’t want them to overturn that, but they said they aren’t even going to look?
You know I'm pulling for you, buddy. My New Years resolution is to lose the weight in my fat thumbs
A complete admission that the NFL is too incompetent to enforce their own rules. They didn't even review it.
LOL. NFL to Saints: EAD
Sadly, this is accurate.NFC is going to be a bloodbath in the playoffs, really. All of these teams are good. Except for the Eagles.
Don’t be hasty (just because what’s happened so far).NFC is going to be a bloodbath in the playoffs, really. All of these teams are good. Except for the Eagles.
Now let's go EAGLES! I'm pulling hard for the Birds.A complete admission that the NFL is too incompetent to enforce their own rules.
Johnny, I owe you an apology. That’s just ridiculous.
Only if you have a TE. If not, you must run the same play that got stuffed previously and expect a different result.Oh wait so it is legal to throw on 3rd down when you’ve been stuff at the goal line twice?
Don't pull his fat thumbs ... it's a trickYou know I'm pulling for you, buddy.
The Saints didn't get a chance in OT. Wasn't that the narrative for KC last year? How long until the change the OT rules tweets begin?
There's a simple solution to thisBrees’ contract is exactly the same as Brady’s, why aren’t we hearing the same “is this his last game as a Saint” stuff that we’re getting non-stop about Brady?
Just like with Mahomes last year, because it's Brees, people who had no issue with OT rules before will come out of the woodwork. How long until the change the OT rules tweets begin?
That’s the point. When it’s the Pats involved everyone cares. When it’s not the Pats... crickets. The Saints didn't get a chance in OT. Wasn't that the narrative for KC last year?
Saints have the pass interference narrative and now the "didn't get the ball in OT" narrative. Losers lose. The Saints didn't get a chance in OT. Wasn't that the narrative for KC last year?
I felt that way going in, really. Any NFC team outside of the Eagles could win the Super Bowl and it wouldn't shock me. Whereas in the AFC, it's basically a two team race.Don’t be hasty (just because what’s happened so far).
If you're not clear why, you haven't followed the NFL over the past 19 years.Brees’ contract is exactly the same as Brady’s, why aren’t we hearing the same “is this his last game as a Saint” stuff that we’re getting non-stop about Brady?
Appreciate it, but I really believe this could be a blowout. Now let's go EAGLES! I'm pulling hard for the Birds.
You quoting the Ents?Don’t be hasty (just because what’s happened so far).
Because Joe Buck isn't erotically aroused by Brees the way Jim Nantz is over Brady.Brees’ contract is exactly the same as Brady’s, why aren’t we hearing the same “is this his last game as a Saint” stuff that we’re getting non-stop about Brady?
No way. Seahawks have 3 backups on the OL today.Appreciate it, but I really believe this could be a blowout.
Wilson has had an MVP-quality year and the Eagles are playing guys that make Vince Papale look like an All-Pro. I just don’t see this ending well.
Yup. And we officially traded #55 for Sanu. Blah. That for sure? Nice
You obviously havent watched Seattle at all this year. If it doesnt come down to the last drive its not the 2019 SeahawksAppreciate it, but I really believe this could be a blowout.
Wilson has had an MVP-quality year and the Eagles are playing guys that make Vince Papale look like an All-Pro. I just don’t see this ending well.
Show him the latest advancement in hair plugsBecause Joe Buck isn't erotically aroused as Jim Nantz.
Really? One bad game in two decades against a good defense? So we can put to rest the Brees belongs in the top QB's of all time conversation right?
To put up 20 points with that offensive talent at home.
It is really hard to win the Super Bowl. Bottom line. While we are disappointed with a 12-4, division title, wild card loss, the Saints, in three consecutive years in which they were legit SB contender, have:
- Lost the divisional rd on one of the most improbable last play touchdowns you’ll ever see
- Lost the NFCCG partly thanks to one of the worst no-calls in league history at home
- Lost wild card in OT to Kirk Cousins at home
It was a rhetorical question. But now that I think about it if I’m the Chargers or a similar team I think I’d rather throw a shitton of money at Brees rather than Brady for 2 years given their respective ages, and if I’m the Saints I actually might not match given how well the team seemed to perform under Bridgewater. If you're not clear why, you haven't followed the NFL over the past 19 years.
