I posted this in a certain slack channel today but I want to broaden in. I don't think the Patriots like Tua or Love. I think neither is on their boards. I am so sick and tired of these worthless talking heads who have NEVER been right about the Pats in the draft talking about this shit.
So here's the deal. If the Pats draft Tua or Jordan Love I will donate $100 to the Jimmy Fund. Personally it's a hard pass on either. I love Tua the college player but his injuries scare me and Love's vision, ability to read the field, and decision making are abysmal. I feel like I am going to have a meltdown.
I feel like Tua is on their board in the abstract, he seems a good fit. I also think they have no interest in what it would take to move to a position to take him though.
Love I don't get tying to the Pats at all, everything about Love's profile and where you'd have to draft him seems like a bad fit for what Bill likes to do. Hurts at the end of the 3rd... sure I can see that. One of the myriad of 3rd tier guys in the 5th-7th... absolutely. But a raw inaccurate turnover-prone QB at 23?
Yannick's points might be better received if he wrote in proper English and not street slang that Tony Khan probably only half-understands, at best.
If you want to get through to the white billionaire, you have to speak like the white billionaire.
Tony Khan is decidedly not white. He's also a 37 year old who runs a pro-wrestling organization. He understands fine, he just doesn't care. Yannick wants to be traded so he can get paid, Khan won't trade him unless he gets a good deal. Yannick thinks being a PITA on twitter will get him somewhere, Khan is replying to let him know he doesn't care.
