Had a sinking feeling with the early Courtois save on Salah, hasn't been the same attack since then.
I really, really hate Klopp's Kabak / Jota change that dropped Fabinho to CB; Firmino had contributed nothing to that point, and Fabinho had snuffed out most of the Madrid counter chances to that point in the match; I get Klopp wanting to throw attackers on, but Firmino had been a net negative to that point in the game. Clearly Klopp thought similarly by the dying moments, as Firmino was brought off along with Mane for Shaqiri/Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Since that change, Liverpool have regressed to their attacking strategy against West Brom / Burnley: hump the ball into the box from each flank, recycle possession, rinse and repeat. Salah / Jota ain't beating Militao / Nacho in the air.
