To me, no, not at all.
He basically presided over a really great (almost historically great for this program) 8-10 year stretch and just had a year completely overwhelmed by injuries. I lost count of how many O-lineman we lost early this year, plus QBs and DBs.
Yes his playcalling is oddly conservative but mostly it has worked when they have the formula he seems to prefer (stout line play, run a lot to set up pass).
Also, Stanford is incredibly apathetic about its program (hard to overstate how much so), as long as there is good competitive effort and no scandals, he should be safe in perpetuity.
