I love you.We all like golfers for different reasons. Similar to why you like fighters.
When we say a golfer is boring it could mean any of the reasons you listed.
I find that, typically, I like most of the PGA golfers. Probably 90 percent of them. I think I lean towards a lot of the European guys because they show a sense of humor on the golf course.
I like Rory because he’s the best golfer in the world when he’s playing well, and pound for pound he’s the longest hitter ever.
I like Dustin Johnson because I met him a bunch when I was younger and going to Myrtle Beach with my dad.
Fowler seems cool. Koepka is a beast. Jason Day, injuries aside, seems like an awesome guy. As does Kevin Kisner.
The only ones I really don’t like are Spieth, Kuchar, and Reed.
Made the cut despite a triple on 10 yesterday.this hovland kid is pretty good
Yeah it's down to 1 now as Keegan Bradley birdies 15. Incredible round by him today.Chez Revie leads by 5. Gorgeous day in Cromwell.
He bounced back nicely. Could tie for second.I don't know who he is, but 3 holes ago Zach Sucher had a 5 shot lead. He has proceeded to hit so many bad shots, it's hard to believe he's on the PGA tour. The lead is gone. I feel very badly, he's so rattled, he can't do anything and he's been left with 3 BRUTAL bunker shots, that you couldn't do much to begin with.
edit - that's a bogey and two doubles in 3 holes. He's behind by a stroke now. That's a rough 3 holes. I wonder how the rest of the round is going to go. I'm nervous.
Keegan's 17th hole makes this round look like a blowout. You're right, it wasn't.Good drama. Numbers don’t tell the story
And Gary Woodland is +3 through 9. Little bit of a come down from the US Open high.Defenseless course in Detroit this week. The guys on the shotgun start podcast were saying yesterday there was semi-serious talk around the tournament expecting the winner to be near -30.
He could’ve shot a 62 and there’d still be 20 guys within 7 shots of the lead. Nobody’s winning this tournament until Sunday.Champ couldve ran away with this, but did ZERO on the back
It’s the Seniors. They’ve had three times as many winners at double digits under par in the few decades the event has existed than the real tournament has had in its 100+ year history. Nobody wants to see grandpa taking six shots to get out of the high rough, and the 50 year-olds take advantage.Speaking of low scores, what's up with the US Senior Open this week? Surely something has gone wrong when -14 is leading a USGA event after two rounds.
Shot a 63 on day 1 too. Ridiculous.Didn’t know the Nate Lashley story. His parents and girlfriend were killed in a plane crash flying home from watching him play a college event. Jesus.
Shot a 63 today to open a 6-shot lead. Last guy in the field this week as an alternate after falling just short as a Monday Qualifier. Hope he can finish it off tomorrow.
Wow that was him?? I remember that story. I'm rooting hard for him tomorrow.Didn’t know the Nate Lashley story. His parents and girlfriend were killed in a plane crash flying home from watching him play a college event. Jesus.

His whole story is really something. I spent some time reading up on him this morning. He basically gave up golf for a long time and was selling houses instead. He’s only been back on tour now for a couple years.

TRUE - good fedex point booster though for some bums (my team...hopefully)What an abysmal field at the John Deere. It should be an alternate event to the Scottish Open.
It won’t happen for a variety of reasons, mostly sponsor money, but I like NLU’s idea of making either the Irish or Scottish Open a WGC.
