Why not let him finish out the season I wonder?Rangers are the first to make a move:
I don't think Kapler is on the hot seat at all. That team overachieved this season. I think Callaway is safe too. He fits their number one criterion for a manager--he's cheap.Who else do folks think are on the hot seat? Perhaps Kapler in Philly? He is both fairly unorthodox and wheels kind of came off for them in the second half as they faded from playoff contention hard, but then again they were not really expected to compete quite yet this year, and he is new and should get another chance I think/hope. Maybe Callaway with the Mets, or Scott Servais - he's led the Mariners to 3 "close but no cigar" campaigns, and each season they seem to be strong early and fade mid-season, so I could see them moving on from him perhaps....
Maybe not.Mike Scioscia retiring also
Peter Angelos will hire him in a nanosecond.
This would be simultaneously amazing and unfortunateShowalter out in Baltimore.
Orioles become a playoff contender next year, if not a World Series winner? That's typically what happens the year after Buck leaves a team, no?
Shouldn't we start a Thank you Buck thread?Showalter out in Baltimore.

I believe you spelled "Fuck" incorrectlyShouldn't we start a Thank you Buck thread?
Didn't work for Texas when they fired Buck after the 2006 season - it took a few years into the Ron Washington era to seriously contend.Orioles become a playoff contender next year, if not a World Series winner? That's typically what happens the year after Buck leaves a team, no?
