Im well aware of it, dont worry.

Someone here owes the Jimmy Fund $500 if Dobson gets to 1000 career yards as a Patriot so still looking good!

Actuallly still dont think Wilson gets cut given he plays so much on special teams and McCourty/Harmon/A Wilson/Chung/T Wilson/Ebner/Kanoris Davis is the is the safety depth chart.
So Stitch do you want to concede this bet now or wait to see if Dobson is brought back within the first few weeks? I could understand if you want to see if Dobson gets picked up by anyone else and if not perhaps comes back in a few weeks but anything beyond that certainly goes against the spirit of the bet.

Either way it is a long shot at best.

The Mingo may have eaten him.
It seems there is a good bit of overlap between what they can do.

Hearing that, as it looks right now--& things can change in a moment--Pats are going to go hard after WRs after cuts are done.
Here's a name

Mike Wells ESPN Staff Writer
The Colts have cut WR Tevaun Smith. He led them in touchdowns, was second in yards and receptions in the preseason.

Smith was undrafted out of Iowa, so the Ferentz connection could come into play

Keyshawn Martin, Markus Kuhn and Tyler Gaffney cut.
I assume that means Foster makes the team.
It does seem they will need to add a WR.

Other veteran wideouts cut today: Cecil Shorts and Kenbrell Thompkins. Shorts has the BOB connection that didn't really help Washington but perhaps he has more left in the tank.

I've been released by the @Patriots , but I want to thank Coach Belichick & the entire organization for believing in me. More to follow...

From what I've seen on Twitter Gaffney's release was taken as a sign Foster is likely on the team.

@GFarley_ent Halapio was a great story. #Patriots literally signed him off a car lot at the start of camp.

Plus, apparently they're trying to sneak him on the PS.

I'd be shocked if Sunseri makes it. Former draft binky, but looked out of place a lot on the field, and not sure if he brings more to the table on ST.

Posted in another thread, but Pats may want to look at Josh Sitton if he gets released from Green Bay. His play slipped a bit in 2015 and he's been fighting back and turf toe issues but he would greatly improve the interior OL. Stick him at his LG slot and move Thuney over to the right and you have Sitton-Andrews-Thuney. Not a bad interior to say the least. This would push somebody like Josh Kline off the roster and let Shaq Mason heal.

PFF was still very high on him in 2015.

Unless I missed something he hasn't been released, they are just saying they will release him if they can't trade him.

@MikeReiss Per source, OL Chris Barker has been released. If he clears waivers, he is a strong candidate for practice squad.

As I'm keeping track of PS eligibility list above, pretty much everyone released is eligible so far.

Ian Rapaport says he's been released, but Schefter says they're trying to trade him first.
@Dan_Hatman #Packers will move a year early rather than a year late, but Sitton will absolutely upgrade an NFL OL this year

Agreed. Based on past years, I say NE signing him is about 5%, although Brian Waters was a late pickup in 2011.

Posted in the other thread, but regarding Denver putting Talib on the block:

@AndrewBrandt When a longtime veteran player is on the trading block, he's not coming back. Word is out, he may as well be already gone.
