I was having a lovely nap.
Um so I just saw my future wife sing the National Anthem.
Well that was a nice start!
Weren't some people here sort of high on the Coyotes heading into the season?
Ha! I thought I remembered reading that.
If the top line could play 60 minutes a game we’d never lose.
What other lines around the league do you NHL gurus think are as good as our top line?
I’d say Tampa (Kucherov/Stamkos/Namestnikov), and then the Crosby and McDavid trios are up there, but those are mostly the individual awesomeness of 87 and 97 than anything else. The Blues line of Tarasenko, Schenn and Schwartz has been damn good too so we will see if they can keep it up.
Nice job Carlo.
Despite Jack’s insistence of territorial dominance, that really wasn’t that good of a period.
I'd say they're 2nd to Tampa. McDavid and Crosby don't usually play with anyone particularly good, which is great for their teams but the lines themselves don't quite compare overall
Someone should tell the Bruins the period started
Rare bad shift by the Bergy line there.
Has Charlie come back out since he took that hit from Rinaldo?
Believe he has
Juuust the tip
Ah, Shithead’s return
Chara on the PP? What is going on here?
I wonder how his video tribute before the game was.
Good to see Backes looking healthy
Away from a TV- OEL really took a minor w 4 seconds to go?
Well, the whistle came with 4 seconds, penalty happened 15 seconds or so earlier.
Yup. Bruins dumped the puck into the corner and he was racing Schaller to the puck and just decided to knock Schaller down instead of playing the puck.
Holy cow, what a move by Marchand to draw the 5 on 3.
Holy shit puck movement!!!! That was beautiful.
Come on Backes, finish your chances
Chara looks awesome so far this year.
All aboard the Heinen train
Heinen deserved that
Heinen! Boy, Nash really didn't want to shoot that, but it worked out.
Absolutely agree. He has been great tonight.
It's a laffah!!
that was pretty.
OTL for the Habs tonight, so the B’s jump back to the 3rd spot in the Atlantic.
Glad to be wrong about Backes so far.
Also, Tuukka appears to be most of the way back. He was outstanding tonight.
Not sure which thread to put this in but today’s Spittin Chiclets is must listen. Biz is live “in studio” and the conversation is awesome. Ranges from “Hog Talk” to ECHL fighting stories to Craig Patrick to life on the road as an announcer to the skill level it takes to play in the top 6 of the NHL plus more. Fascinating stuff.
Yeah, that was great stuff. I couldn’t breathe when Biz was going off on what it was like to play against legit top 6 guys.
