solving that 2nd pair D problem with aplomb right nowGrzelcyk has been studly tonight
Team leading 66% Corsi, 2 assists, 27% only o zone starts. Sample size keeps growing and he is showing no signs of slowing. Can’t take him out of the lineup.solving that 2nd pair D problem with aplomb right now
If they want to put McQuaid in, I think it has to be Carlo that sits. I’m not sure McQuaid should go in though with the roll they’re on.Team leading 66% Corsi, 2 assists, 27% only o zone starts. Sample size keeps growing and he is showing no signs of slowing. Can’t take him out of the lineup.
Not their best tonight and they walk out with a pretty easy 5-1 win. Ho hum.
Agreed, and I think the Bruins have recognized this.If they want to put McQuaid in, I think it has to be Carlo that sits. I’m not sure McQuaid should go in though with the roll they’re on.
I’m all in for a rematch of the 2013 first round.Habs are a loser in Carolina tonight. B’s have a 9 point lead on the nearest Atlantic trailer (with 2 games in hand) after Toronto. 47 games left on the year but looks like we could be on a collision course with the Leafs and we’ll spend the next few months jockeying for home ice.
And Grzelcyk passes the eye test. He and Debrusk are my biggest surprises so far this year. He's a keeper.Team leading 66% Corsi, 2 assists, 27% only o zone starts. Sample size keeps growing and he is showing no signs of slowing. Can’t take him out of the lineup.

Gryz has been fantastic. Biggest surprise for me so far. I also agree with TFP that the guy to sit for McQuaid is Carlo, not Gryz. He's been too good to sit, and him and Miller have been exceptional this recent run of games. I don't know if it's having his good friend and former partner in McAvoy on the team, or he's just that good, but I've really liked what I've seen from him so far. Very optimistic about the Bruins defensive depth moving forward, especially because it allows them to let Zboril and Lauzon take time to develop, something that can be very good for a defenseman in today's league. And Grzelcyk passes the eye test.
