Do we know if the next game would be home game or road game and if home game on the the 4th 5th or 8th?

One thing I’m confident in: this Bulls “all in” roster is going to fall short of a title.

In-Season Tournament Group C reminder: The Celtics need to win by 23 points over the Bulls AND the Nets have to win against the Raptors AND Boston's margin of victory needs to be at least 9 points more than Brooklyn's margin of victory.

After 3: Knicks 80, Hornets 66. As of now, it'll be Knicks at Bucks and Celtics at Pacers in the quarterfinals, but this is going to go right down to the end tonight Current point differentials: Knicks: plus-32 Celtics: plus-30 Magic: plus-22 Cavaliers: plus-18 Nets: plus-12

Sorry if this is mentioned upthread but I’m confused. If the Celtics win by 23 or more they are in the Quater finals? Or do they need something to happen in the Nets game to advance?
If the Celtics win by 23+ and the Nets win, the Celtics advance. If the Nets lose, the Celtics need to have a higher point differential than other 3-1 teams that didn’t win their group. If Miami wins a close game, that means beating the Bucks, who currently sit at +39. If the Bucks win, it means beating the Knicks, who sit at +18. Thus, 39 is the magic number for controlling their destiny.

Here
Tatum's shot late in games recently has looked very ugly. Wonder if his cardio is still off from the virus.

If the Nets win its head to head to head between Magic, Nets, and Celts, which is a push so it goes to point differential for the group win.

If the Nets lose, Magic win the group via head to head, and Celts have a harder road via the WC point differential.

I think. I’m on my second cocktail.
So if the Nets hang on, it takes the H2H loss to Orlando off the table which helps the Celtics. Got it.

Knicks are also up 14 right now, so the Celtics path absent a Nets win is going to require something around 40 points and if the Knicks win by 21+ the 39 number above goes up.

Hahahaha, Hauser's reaction just made my laugh my ass off. He looked like me if I ever got a put back dunk in high school that wasn't a tennis ball.

We could be in a weird situation where if Miami wins we need them to win by like 10. I don't know why people want to get ride of the scoring differential, I love this.

Celtics will win the third tiebreak against Orlando or the Knicks, so they need to be +22 (not +23) to beat Orlando and tie whatever the pt differential ends up being for NYK.

Bulls crew promoting quarters won as an alternative to point differential, which makes a lot of sense for adjusting to the different scoring nature of basketball v. soccer.

Hack a drummond up 30 is hilarious. But if they really want to make the next round it's easily the right move, extra possessions to run it up.
