?I’m torn on Matip. Gomez has been awful, but Matip’s rust has rust and he is nowhere near as pacey. I’d rather have seen Fabinho back there.
Can’t wait to see what Thiago can do.
I predict Richarlison will do many things that make me very, very angry. He’s rapidly becoming the league’s Diego Costa and I can’t stomach that shit.
Richarlison as Costa. He’s jerky but he doesn’t go around gouging people??
Haven’t had coffee yet, so I’m confused.
The logic, I think, is that since the play is dead there cannot be a foul. Not saying I agree with it, because if there was a punch thrown or whatever there would be consequences.Totally confused here. Because the offside flag is up, Pickford can recklessly take out VVD’s knee?
edit - ha, great minds....
I don’t think it’s a red. I’m not even convinced it’s a foul, honestly. Not going to defend Pickford at all. Reckless, stupid. Pool have every right to be livid. Should be 2-0 and Everton down to 10. I want this fucking clown gone.
he’s a fucking spaz.Pickford punched a ball out like a maniac as well. Did he do a line before the game?
Really? Nowhere near the ball.I don’t think it’s a red. I’m not even convinced it’s a foul, honestly.
I am livid at the refereeing crew for getting every detail of the play wrong.
He was making himself big, “protecting” himself, etc. it was ugly and I wouldn’t be mad if he was penalized, but keepers are inherently vulnerable in those situations.Really? Nowhere near the ball.
I’d guess one out of every 10,000 foul throws is called.Stepped over the line on the throw in. Come on ref
I'm sure VAR would come to the rescue if it led to a goal. /sarcI’d guess one out of every 10,000 foul throws is called.
Exactly. Anything short of violent conduct seems fair game as long as the player is offside, which seems like something that the rules need to address. So every time someone is offside you can commit serious foul play. As long as you dont go overboard and commit violent conduct you can do some serious damage.
